Today we check out an RGB LED strip that is under $15 shipped on Amazon. I've seen ones under $20, but this is the first under $15. Turns out, it's great! From quality packaging to impressive brightness, it's very solid. It's super thin and the spacing of the LED nodes worried me at first, but once it was installed with the help of some extra tape, it really does look amazing. Enjoy the video! I put it under my bed, but course it can go anywhere you would like.

literally was planning on buying leds tomorrow (with a few other things) but I am going to spend the extra for a logysis strip and a pack to add my other strip i have (the power brick took a shit on me a while ago) in sections (it's essentially an extra power/receiver brick, and some connector cables etc for like $10)

Around $8 fot 5 meter. RGB/RGBW/RGBWW waterproof on AliExpress. Got a couple pf them for 11 months now and they are still good

i got lightstrips for $7 off ebay, perfectly fine!
Bought this last year and was disappointed with the fact that the RGB LEDs were too spread out. Even at a distance, I could tell that the lights were not mixing well apart from picking just red, green, or blue.
Oddly enough, I stuck mine under the bed too.

i hate the 3528 led strips. I've got them behind my monitor and the individual colors easily reflect off the the side of my case. But, they were only $5 so I guess I can't complain lol

I just got an led strip from walmart for $4.88 and there actually better than those (atleast from what I can see). It's funny how cheap the walmart ones are but there still great! I put them behind my desk and their pretty bright. Another surprise was that it even has a waterproof coating on it!

I've got 15m led strip for about 12$ directly from china, than just added a wifi controller to use it with my echo and a 8A power adapter and so my perfect package is just about 30-40$

love your work! i want to do the exact thing to my bed. However, i would like to add a motion detector so when i get up in the middle of the night the underglow will turn on automatically blue. do you know when i can find an add on motion detector to connect to these lights?

Say you want to install LEDs around the bottom of your desk and when it comes to a corner and you cut a strip off will the LED still connect and be synchronized with the other piece

There is something you can buy for an outlet. You plug it in and you pair it with Alexa and what you plug in has another outlet that is connected to Alexa. You then rename it and say on or off

I might do this, but does it do more than just solid red, blug and green? That remote has way more colours than just those 3 options.
those remotes are generic and comes with just about any lighting kit nowadays. Just because the generic remote offers those options, doesn't particularly mean the lights can adhere to it.
