Ha, I've been saying this!! Try living 3 blocks away from campus lol. I'm about to transfer after I get my Associates & last yr I was so excited about potentially going to HU. But I've been hearing about their Admissions/Financial aid office for years & so many of my friends have had major problems, I'm like no I'm just going to try and make a dream come true and attend Spelman.
All Alpha chapter DST videos I've seen on youtube have been extremely classy!!! I just love that! Continue to keep it classy sorors! Hopefully other chapters will follow suit.
This was so beautiful i almost cried, my sister pledged Delta & she watched this and cried because she said she loves how Deltas are just a big family and she loves all her Sahraws (: Much Loveeeee
@soPrettyTt They don't praise their letters, although their org was formed on Christian principles. Their org has come a VERY long way, 99 years to be exact. Many of the songs their performing are traditional and a staple in the org as a whole. This was the new ladies presentation to campus and also graduation. All of their members have always taken GREAT pride in their org. Unless you know the history of these orgs or are a member, you'd never understand but don't criticize!
@DarkGem34 you can't JOIN a NPHC Sorority. You have to attend an interest meeting and then the rest is sort of up to them. Most schools, you arent allowed to go to the interest meetings until sophmore year with a certain GPA. My school does at least, and other HBCU's. A major part is not revealing which sorority you pledge. Its a secret up until your probabte.
@Isthatit100 I guess you've never seen the Deltas sing at Fortitude after graduation. We can agree to disagree. Either way, congratulations to the graduates, and congratulations to Tenacious 43.
That wasn't a "neo show". They were just singing on the yard (in the valley) after graduation like all the greek orgs do. Its a way of showing solidarity in commending the graduates.
I am confused. This was a Coming Out Show or Graduation 2011? If it was a Coming Out Show, what happened to the Traditional Coming Out Show of Alpha Chapter DST Inc.?
i have a big head so i kno i would have accidently hit sum1 in the face lolz....but the ladies were absolutely beautiful. and their harmonies = amazing
@maliklik95 if you aren't apart of neither organization, you have no business discussing which is better. All Divine 9 organizations stand for positive ideals. So until you are so fortunate to be apart of them, you should keep who you think is better to your self, since it's obvious you want to be an AKA or Kappa. 4-B-11
