  • Today I finish up the biggest enclosure I've built to date! I am super happy with how it turned out. Now I just need to plant it, add the hide, and some basking shelves. So I guess it's not really finished yet....

Use torx screws for best results my man..some t-25 screws will change your life after messing with a Phillips bit that keeps coming out and rounding out the screw

That looks absolutely amazing...but I've got you beat. I'm about 70% done with (just the structure) a 25'L x 12'W x 8'H enclosure. My end game reptile will be a black throat monitor lizard. I unfortunately don't have instagram. Maybe I'll do a youtube video or something. Great job 👍. Can't wait to see the interior design process.

I do my best to spoil all of our animals! Their inside enclosures are pretty massive as well.

Next time use deck screws and washers so you can save time with a screw gun

I used all reclaimed parts for this project. Are you talking for attatching the fencing or just in general?

@@TheReptileRoom1 to put the hardware cloth or "chicken wire " on I would have preferred to put some silver dollar sized washers over the part of the screen that you want pinned against the wood and then drive a screw through the center of the washer and in through the square holes in it. It would keep maintenance down when you can use less effort to remove and replace the screen squares you got which is a great idea by the way and I'd also put some paint just on the screen to weather seal it so your boy doesn't end up escaping through a rust hole that can pop up seemingly out of nowhere lol

@@christianward6787 the sire meah i bought is rolled wire that shouldnt rust. That wouldve been anfaster method of atatching but i did sandwhich it together to cover the cut ends. Which i wouldve done regardless. Maybe in the next outdoor build it will get put on that way. Multiple ways to accomplish the same thing.

3:30 I know you don't wanna rat out you neighbors but some of them appear to be
doing 130mph ,, to me that seems unsafe for children playing , maybe you should
call the police and request they set up a radar on your street .

The local police do run radar but they cant sit there 24/7. Most of the cars speeding by arent neighbors just awful drivers. My immediate neighbor and myself are trying to get people to stop littering while driving by too...
