Geno had the best deep ball and the best completion % in 2022. Thats when he had an average OL. He had a bottom 5 OL in 2023 with a bellow average run game. Geno WAS NOT the problem whatsover last season.

The question becomes however, if he isn’t the problem, can he be the solution. Can he be the guy who takes this team to the championship?
Considering how opposing defenses tried to tee off with that line he actually had amazing success. His success rate was 1st under pressure and 2nd to Mahommes vs the blitz. Mahommes was also quite a bit faster getting the ball out in 2023, about as much faster than Geno than the next fastest after Geno. Still, if Patrick Mahommes is the only one beating you out on important indicators like that you’re doing something right. Geno is as underrated as any QB I can recall. His main problem now is that he gets frustrated, which is understandable with that Schneider built line, but it’s still a problem.

And that’s a valid argument because he is definitely getting older and has made some mistakes. I think this upcoming season makes or breaks his future in seattle. No matter how bad or good the coaching. No matter how bad or good the OL. Geno has to be that guy for the team or else they gonna give Sam a try
Uchena Nwosu.. why doesn’t anyone mention the best player on their defense?
Coming off torn pec is tough. I have faith he’ll come back to bring some spice to that defense

2025 is when the Hawks will be contenders… considering this is McDonalds first year and next season they can shed Geno’s, Lockett and Dremont Jones contracts clearing up a lot of cap space.
Anyone saying that the Seahawks need a better QB than Geno Smith for the Seahawks to go deep in the playoffs don’t know what they are talking about! 😂 Watch the replays of past games. Our defense and o- line have been the problem in the past. Not Geno, he is a top tier QB.

Nope, they're gonna take the division. A lot of you aren't looking at the big picture. Macdonald is an absolute beast on the defensive side. Will there be some growing pains, yes, but overall, Seattle takes the division next year. They'll split with the niners, sweep the Rams and Cards. Macdonald is no joke, I've been watching his defense since college.

Hawks stars are young. DK year 5 young tackles young RBs , young secondary and you left out Nwosu on the edge
Hawks are a young and up and coming team especially if Howell or a rookie comes in
I said they’re older in key positions. AKA Qb, major defensive positions, DK isn’t improving any more. That’s what I mean by that. Yes their are ways for them to get younger but as of right now the team doesn’t have many young rookie, or sophomore like players in MAJOR positions

I mean I think I’m being pretty generous with the Seahawks. I literally said that I think this team is a threat in the NFC. Just not like championship contenders. Which I think is a fair statement to say given the facts they didn’t even make the playoffs last year

I am not putting out any expectations this year. Going to have some wrinkles to iron out. Next yr should be alot better. They should have a bunch of cap money next yr being as they wont be diggin out of deep dead cap hits like this yr.

@@MetroSportsYT I’m not opposed to it either only if it’s a late round selection I think we do have enough edge rush depth tho another player that I’m pretty sure you missed was olu oluwatimi he played solid at center when Evan brown wasn’t starting over him and I just don’t see Nick Harris beating him out

We are considered true "Members" of the team. They retired the #12 and gave it TO US!! We're called "The 12th member of the team". We now have a new KILLER COACH!! Mike Mcdonald is going to take us to the Superbowl!! We have a young team. They're so talented and strong and HUNGRY!! Geno Smith pulled us out of our shock and depression when Russel left for the Broncos. Nobody could have imagined how FREAKING AWESOME Geno was! I think we're going to be fine. We are finally going to have a strong D-line, Mike Mcdonald is a DEFENCE WHISPERER! Our O-line is going to be stronger than ever! We've always played a 'air game'. Big throws and great receivers but we need to work on the ground! We have some serious weapons for Geno to pick from on the ground and in the air. Tyler and DK will have a new kid to mold and inspire with Jaxon Smith-Njigba ( f,u.*k his name has been SO HARD to learn🤣😂😅. I think JSN will be just fine!! Kenneth Walker IS our new Beastmode! Riq Woolen is playing like a younger Richard Sherman!! JSN is going to be so great out there with Tyler and DK! What better teachers for our new WR could there EVER BE??. Olu oluwatimi will most likely be the starting center, one of the best O-lineman in the draft last year definitely a steal.

the nfc is incredibly weak rn,any slightly above average team could make the playoffs
I wouldn’t say it’s weak necessarily. The AFC is way stronger but the NFC has some tough teams like Detroit, GB, 49ers, Philly, Dallas, Bears, Rams, Falcons etc

@@MetroSportsYT they’d have to go through the 2 seed though, it’s not even a Seattle issue it’s just the 2 seed is so much better than the 7 seed (unless you’re the cowboys lol).
I feel like it’s almost more likely they come last in the division, I don’t see them being better than SF or LAR and with the Cards potentially having a full season of Kyler I don’t see how Seattle finishes better than 3rd in the division.

@@samuelault4723literally all it would take for the Seahawks to finish 2nd in the NFC west is a mediocre defense. They were 9-8 in back to back years with arguably the worst defense in the league.
