Whitney's voice is a human treasure.
Dead or alive, she is for sure the best female voice in music history.
Whitney Houston was a born star. she was a gift from mother Nature The golden standard of a females voice. everyone wishes they could sound like her, men and women. The world's greatest singer.
Whitney is a master of all the techniques, 1) resonance, 2) Vibrato, 3) Colorature 4)inflections 5) scaling up and down 6) natural 7)falsetto or soft soprano for a woman 8) throat, diaphram and head singing 9) Crescendo and decrescendo and breath control 10) staccato and perfect diction

Most people don’t know, but this is actually a cover. As an 80’s child, I think I was about 10, and I dare speak for a lot of us 80’s kids, I (we) certainly didn’t know this was a cover.
And it really wasn’t until about 5 or so years back, that I found out that this is a cover.

Believe it or not Whitney's voice wasn't at its prime until 1988-1993. It was godly the way her voice was through 2000 but 88-93 was unbelievable. Whitney performing this song in the early 90s was even better than this one. Notice ow she also controls the band while commanding the audience and stage.

@@ericwilliams5518 im not….lol. Her vocals was already perfect by 83 and by 2000/2001 is when she started sounding tired. no vocal decline just tired…. i hate yall that try to pinpoint her middle 3 vocal eras as her prime and forget about before and after that…. do your research before u say some dumb shit again
