Quantz is a genius but this concerto is over the top. Especially slow movement is one of most beautiful masterpieces of baroque......but almost nobody knows ....because Quantz is criminally underrated with not even a single attempt to perform his whole production or at least a good portion....

Ristenpart made many great recordings of baroque and classical music, back in the day when it was still music.

How about listing a credit for the soloist? Ristenpart's recordings were released on Nonesuch in the USA.

      Apparently it is Roger Bourdin.

Sadly, appoggiaturas are not played correctly.

Berliner schloss was breathtakingly beautiful, too bad it was totally destroyed during WWII. Though they rebuilt it, it's just a soulless shell.

the berliner schloss was not totally destroyed during the war. it was only severely damaged by the allied
air terrrorists but was blown up by the communists 1950.
now its baroque facades are reconstructed. i hope that in better times we will reconstruct the rest.
