I personally agree that they need to make a Sly 5 not only because they left it on a cliffhanger. We also need to know what will happen to Sly in the Egyptian time, who we will meet(and I'm wondering if they'll bring up a first female theif in the sly franchise that is related to Sly). What will the gameplay be with Carmelita officially being apart of the Cooper gang/Sly's Family and what will Carmelita do about her Job do to Sly being gone/missing. It's crazy to think of all the possibilities and twists this will bring to tons of people, but for the most part, it will spike all of our interests. Other than that I wouldn't mind seeing something similar to what they did to Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart(possibly including the visuals like how Ratchet, Clank, Rivet, ect. looks alive and at the same time keeps that unique look of our loving characters).
I mean,I think mascot platformer should make a comeback like yesterday,Crash made a comeback,Gex is getting a remaster,Ty The Tasmanian Tiger got a remaster, Spyro is getting a fourth game,Rayman made an appearance in the latest Mario+Rabbit game, frigging Bubsy got a game,OddWorld with New N' Tasty and Soulstorm. Then why not Sly Cooper along side with Jack and Daxter make a comeback?
As a fan of this franchise, I desperately want something big to happen. So much so that I even made a video talking about a reboot and potential ideas for it. I'm no developer or game designer, but a guy can dream, can they not?
I've been proposing the idea for a while that Sly Cooper can return to the world of video games via the PlayStation plus. If fans start playing and platinuming Sly Cooper video games on PS 5 and 4 via the PS plus there's the possibility that Sony convinces itself to give us some news, Sony for better or for worse there is something about the date on Nex gen and honestly as a fan it's fine for me to be able to play Sly Cooper again on PS 5 and platinum the trilogy and. 4 is something really fantastic, but other fans should also do the same, in my opinion old games should be supported with PlayStation plus just so you can do something, I say just keep your wallet

It may not seem likely for now, but I am fully confident that Sly 5 WILL happen. If Psychonauts 2 (2021) can happen after a long time from the original Psychonauts (2005), then I’m certain that an amazing series like Sly Cooper can have the amazing conclusion it deserves.
Yes Sly needs to finish his story!!!! They should even do a remaster of all the games just like Crash did. Crash I feel was in the same boat as Sly and we see how long it took for the final game in the series to come out. So I believe Sly should get the same treatment/justice
Would a stealth sequel work. Where the game starts off with no reference to previous works until later in the game. We could probably recap the time traveling scheme and how sly got rescued from Egypt by making it part of Penelope’s backstory. We could use the trophies we steal to give us more detailed information of previous works and characters when we collect and read them.
Here's an idea! Maybe bring back the Guru only he's evil now and wants to wipe out Bentley's entire bloodline, because it's the only way he feels he can convince Murray to help him create weapons of mass destruction in order to make billions of dollars.

I agree, I’m a big sly fan and it deserves to return with a sly 5, I even wrote down how sly 5 and 6 could play out, the only thing I ask for if this happens is that the characters gameplay movements are like in sly 2 and 3 and Murray’s voice is deeper again like in sly 2
Once thing I think should happen. They should remake all 4 games. Get rid of stuff that didn't work and keep the stuff that did. And finish off where the Fourth game left off.
I think a remake of all 4 games would be the best idea. Also, because, like the kids of today will be the true Judges of the game. If they love it, then a bigger chance of a continuation might happen. As much as adults have influenced, kids have influence as well In ways we have forgotten

I gotta say, this kinda bums me out seeing Sly Cooper hasn't made a comeback yet. And even so, I am still a Sly Cooper fan throughout all these years. But I can't understand why Sanzaru Games decided to leave this one wide open for a cliffhanger. I mean they could've at least considered it widely to make the DLC happen but no. Even so, I am still thankful that Sucker Punch hasn't forgotten Sly Cooper, I mean let's not forget they added easter eggs in Ghost of Tsushima. I mean don't get me wrong I understand everyone has lost faith in it but I haven't. I still believe Sucker Punch can do it, but if it's not them, might as well leave it at that until another developer gets it. But as they said, "Never say never of revisiting those doors", which means anything can happen. But 10 years was a long time. So I just definitely need to see Sony bring back the iconic characters like Sly Cooper and Jak and Daxter. And you know what's the bright side, there's a lot of fans who are strong and capable of bringing studios' attention. Some people aren't going to agree with me but one of these days, it can happen. I'm just happy knowing that Sony is aware that we miss him and the gang.

I will say, the 4th game actually played really well and was fun for exploring the time periods. Thanks to the treasures and clue bottles. And playing as the characters was fun. Not to mention it looked pretty good and was far more dynamic compared to the trilogy. The biggest weaknesses though were definitely the story and the excessive talking and joking atound by the characters. BTW VIVI, not sure if you'll check it out, but I've been using the original trilogy for a story on FFN. I'm not doing originals like EikaPrime did though. Just a multiverse tale. UA Multiverse Peek is the title.
Sly Cooper can sell more thanks to ghost of Tsushima. Their made by the same developer, both utilizes stealth and climbing in their gameplays, and was referenced in ghost even as a trophy so more people know about sly cooper.
I commented on a PlayStation video about the new Spider-Man 2 and appealed to the game directors of PlayStation to bring Sly Cooper Trilogy and Jak and Daxter Trilogy to PC ports on Steam/Epic Store. But no one answered me back :(
I’d honestly like to see a remake or reboot. It’s been a long time and I feel like Sony wouldn’t want to continue the story of thieves in time given it wasn’t received very well.
I agree 100% that a fifth game needs to happen! There is currently one small ray of hope: an independent company called Damsel Interactive is developing (drum roll please) Court of Thieves, were players get to play two different characters Cooper Fox and Asta Fox the son and daughter of both Sly and Carmelita! No I'm not making this up, you can look on RUclips and see for yourself! It's currently on halt as the developer had too many irons in the fire, but sooner or later an update will happen. It's being developed currently through Dreams. Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope and pray that something will happen.
Sorry I need to get off-topic off a minute, but I’m glad a new Rugrats game is coming out next year. Adventure in Gameland. Based on the original series of all things. Not the reboot. The reveal trailer looked amazing I think. You know what a big fan of the series I am right? Even more than SpongeBob.
Yes. I think the Sly franchise should follow in Resident Evil’s footsteps. As in further the timeline and reboot/remake at the same time. RE7 continued the timeline then RE2 got a remake two years later. If I had a billion dollar budget and my own company, I’m making Sly 5: The Master Thief and Sly 1 Remake the following year. I’ve been working on a fan project myself called Cooper Chronicles 👀 one will feature all of the ancestors getting an episode or two then another Cooper Chronicles game featuring Sly’s dad
There are a few things I want from a Sly 5: First, bring Panda King, Dimitri and The Guru back. I love the main Cooper Gang trio as much as the next person but it was a nice change of pace adding new members to the roster. Especially when two of them were former enemies of theirs. Second, Redeem Penelope. Her turncoat was COMPLETELY out of left field. All for the sake of a twist villain. A discount Neyla and Dr. M. I want her turncoat to be retconed, revealing that Le Paradox used Clockwerk's Eye to hypnotize her. It would explain why she hates Sly and wants to build weapons to take over the world all of a sudden. That way we get a proper explanation for her sudden change in behavior. Speaking of Clockwerk, that leads us to the Third. Expand upon his backstory. Why does he hate and why is he jealous of the Coopers so much? How did it start exactly? Did they always steal things that he tried to steal? How did he invent that advanced mechanical body and the Hate Chip in 1300 BC? Was he really ahead of his time or did he have help? Thieves in Time had a perfectly opportunity to expand upon Clockwerk. Instead, they made him a background Easter Egg along with his Eye. That Eye could've been reason Penelope turned of them. Seriously, brainwashing may be overdone a lot, but it doesn't necessarily have to be cliche if you try something interesting with it. Also I wouldn't mind some old and new foes showing up. And Sly and Carmelita having a proper heart-to-heart about the whole amnesia thing. And for the love of God, NO. MORE. CLIFFHANGER. ENDINGS.
How about a spin off of sly cooper? Sure i would like to see sly 5 but if we have ourselves the stories like finding clues on where sly is for bentley, murray, and Carmelita to find sly and some answers like what penelope had been doing since she escaped from her prison cell.
At this point, if not another Sly Cooper game. Then at least can we get all four games remastered for the PS5. I'm sick with the streaming aspect of the PSN subscription. My wifi connection can't handle it all the time. And the upcoming price hikes are ridiculous.
6:00 to address this part here. Sly released back in 2013. Most the fanbase were either kids or didnt have much money. Now , if they released a game 10 years after, in theory, a majority of the fanbase has money to go and buy this game for the nostalgia factor, no? Wouldn't that be what Sony wants?
For me I believe the game should get a reboot cuz i want to experience a new story and new worlds,characters like a remaster or a remake would be beautiful but imagine how crazy a new story like todays games for example god of war and ratchet and clank rift apart the transitions between gameplay and cutscenes are insane. I think the greatest problem for sly now is accessibility, and I know about ps premium and also emulation exists but problem with these options is that on PS plus the abonnement cost more than ever (and it’s streaming so without a good internet it’s not worth paying)and emulation not only require beter hardware with also costs but also I doubt much people can easily use it, I stil have the problem to emulate trylogy on ps3 emulator (yes, I have good enough pc to emulate)so these answers are not practical solutions especially if the targeted group are children, so if Sly want to stay on and show up more that I think remaster of the trilogy is a good start, and even if sucker punch don’t have time to work on it, Bluepoint is a great opportunity for something like that I saying that mostly because I haven’t played any Sly game and I want to but but yea as I said, huge prices and technical difficulties don’t make it easy😢 and I hope for the same answer for ratchet and clank trilogies I only played a crack in time and it was amazing although streaming is not the best option for gaming truly
I would love a sly 5 if they do it correctly but at the same time I would not complain about a remastered or we make of sly 1 2 3 and 4 where the built the game up again from the bottom and maybe add some new stuff in the maps

I really love playing Sly 2 and Thieves in Time. I really hope Sly returns with Sly 5. Sly 5 should take the Sonic Frontiers route in terms of story, gameplay, and environments and I do like the idea of Sly’s adventures being recapped at the opening of Sly 5. I still want the Art Style to be like Thieves in Time with more cel-shading like Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
Tin Foil Hat Theory: There hasn't been production on a new Sly Cooper game because they don't want to directly compete with a new GTA game releasing like they did last time when SLY4 released in the same year GTA V released.

I’ve been a big fan of the series since the beginning and though it’s been a decade since Sly 4 I still carry a torch for the series hoping to see a comeback… Honestly I think Sony’s become dare I say boring and predictable with it’s lineup, there’s not many big games to look forward to, so honestly it would be awesome to see Sly 5/a remake get announced and snap Sony out of the rut they’ve been in for a while…
If Sony were to ever try to have Sly return after so long, I feel they shouldn't have the previous games behind a PlayStation Plus paywall. Have the games be available to purchase without needing to subscribe and stream. More people would be willingly to try them out which could lead to more people wanting to see Sly return. I can see actually see Sly 5 working with the Rift Apart approach. The other games just need to be easily accessible.
If we know that Sony had the control to what fans want and don't give anything my point of view sly 5's level can be Flashback level we never knew there would been a heist and sly returns to Egypt he has to avoid being seen until he meets slytunkalman writing the first page of the thevius raccoonus and sly asks to write a page to send a message but the pages are taken by a mysterious figure that figure is clockwerk and he scatters the pages in time it's up sly and his ancestor to steal back the parts from corrupt pharaoh at the same time Bently, Murray and carmelita would work on a time machine but secretly accompanied by Penelope she travels in time to stop her former team and sly as she is secrets clockwerk agent to aid her master. And clockwerk has a fiendish five custom pulled in time. All but Penelope defeated clockwerk and Penelope combine to stop the gang but sly sacrifices his cane. Now clockwerk and Penelope are like sideways and unicron who would go thru every length to stop the heroes

Sly 5 doesn't "need" to happen, however, I feel no matter how it happens, people will be happy with it, if 4 didn't end with a cliff hanger, I feel we wouldn't want this as much, even at all
I'd be worried that they would push in modern day political bs like in Spiderman 2, that stuff really messes with the escapism element. But I would love to get another game 👍
I'd be up for introducing some RPG-like elements. Complete wardrobe system, customizable outfits, stat boosts, etc. As for Sly 5's story, I'd picture split segments between Sly solo in Egypt, and present time Murray, Bentley and Carmelita with more fleshed out gameplay!
If Sly Cooper's series really does get to continue after Time of Thieves, then it's time to go scream for joy, letting everyone out after all these years of frustrating waiting Thieves in time left a couple of things unsolved; That Sly and Carmelita's relationship could have ever worked and how Penelope went from that to just being a nasty bad guy
I, too, would've loved it more if Sly and Carmelita had a little heart-to-heart about the whole amnesia thing and how wrong it was for her to take advantage of him like that. And how wrong it was for him to pretend to be something he wasn't just to be with her. Sly just wasn't ready to retire or change. I really think their relationship could work. They go together like Batman and Catwoman. Even people with clashing ideals can fall in love with one another. Besides, how does Carmelita know Sly was faking it the whole time? For all she knows, he could've gotten his memory back. It can happen. All it needs is a trigger. Penelope turning evil was indeed out of left field. And her motivation doesn't make sense. Wanting to build weapons and dominate the world while suddenly hating Sly for "Brainwashing" Bentley? What did all of that crap come from? It's a cheap rehash of what Dr. M said. Are we sure she's not brainwashed? If she was hypnotized by Ms. Decibel or, Hell, Clockwerk's Eye then it would've made more sense. Especially, since Clockwerk's motivation was jealousy and hate for the Cooper Clan, it would explain why she hates Sly all of a sudden. Also Penelope wasn't supposed to be a villain in Sly 4. It was originally a tech-headed mole character. But for some reason, they chose Penelope instead.
@@oskarirautio3860 That's another thing. Where the hell did Clockwerk got his talons on such technology, especially in 1300 BC? He even replaced his lungs, stomach and heart with this strange machinery. I can understand the heart, but why replace the stomach and lungs? There was even microchip that literally fuels his immortality with Hate. And if it's destroyed, his parts finally rust. How does that chip do that with hate? And yet, out of all of the parts, only one of his eyes remains. How is that possible? The only logical conclusion is that either Clockwerk was REALLY ahead of his time. Or he scavenged the parts from Le Paradox's time-traveling blimp when it went to Ancient Egypt in the post-credits scene. If the latter is true, then that means Sly, Le Paradox and Bentley might've accidentally created the Cooper Clan's greatest enemy. Oh the cruel irony.
If Sly 5 comes out, the main boss could be somebody that knows someone of the Cooper Gang or Carmelita. I remember your video about Winthorp and he would make a perfect enemy for Sly Cooper. In Sly 4 Sly loved but alsow just used Carmelita. Winthorp could know that and just wants to help Carmelita by fighting Sly. But Winthorp can just hate Sly because Carmelita loved Sly but not him. Or: Penelope broke out so Winthorp became a couple with her and they both take revenge. Winthorp because Carmelita did never love him and penelope because Sly defeted her. Winthorp can get information behind Carmelitas back because he is her Assistant!
Although, Carmelita took advantage of Sly's amnesia and made him into something he wasn't. Plus, Having amnesia won't guarantee a "Drop-All-Charges Free" pass. Sly only faked it so he could retire from thievery and be with Carmelita. It didn't forever because of his nature. He tried to be something he wasn't to be with the lady he loves and it didn't work because by the end of the day, he's a thief. I doubt Sly believed the amnesia thing would fool her. He just winged it. She had feelings for him, too. So instead of arresting Sly, Carmelita pitied him and took advantage of it to be with him. If he really did have amnesia, I doubt it would've lasted forever. No memory can be erased entirely. And it would be wrong for Carmelita to take advantage of it like that.

Some good news though, the ps2 sly cooper and the thievious raccoonus will available to purchase digitally on June 11.

I gotta say, this kinda bums me out seeing Sly Cooper hasn't made a comeback yet. And even so, I am still a Sly Cooper fan throughout all these years. But I can't understand why Sanzaru Games decided to leave this one wide open for a cliffhanger. I mean they could've at least considered it widely to make the DLC happen but no. Even so, I am still thankful that Sucker Punch hasn't forgotten Sly Cooper, I mean let's not forget they added easter eggs in Ghost of Tsushima. I mean don't get me wrong I understand everyone has lost faith in it but I haven't. I still believe Sucker Punch can do it, but if it's not them, might as well leave it at that until another developer gets it. But as they said, "Never say never of revisiting those doors", which means anything can happen. But 10 years was a long time. So I just definitely need to see Sony bring back the iconic characters like Sly Cooper and Jak and Daxter. And you know what's the bright side, there's a lot of fans who are strong and capable of bringing studios' attention. Some people aren't going to agree with me but one of these days, it can happen. I'm just happy knowing that Sony is aware that we miss him and the gang.

Sly Cooper 5 needs to happen
I will say, the 4th game actually played really well and was fun for exploring the time periods. Thanks to the treasures and clue bottles. And playing as the characters was fun. Not to mention it looked pretty good and was far more dynamic compared to the trilogy.
The biggest weaknesses though were definitely the story and the excessive talking and joking atound by the characters.
BTW VIVI, not sure if you'll check it out, but I've been using the original trilogy for a story on FFN. I'm not doing originals like EikaPrime did though. Just a multiverse tale. UA Multiverse Peek is the title.

One things for sure, the game needs a little more serious tone than before, to raise the stakes of the time travel story.
I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel go darker, especially if we're talking about Clockwerk coming back one day.
Sly Cooper can sell more thanks to ghost of Tsushima. Their made by the same developer, both utilizes stealth and climbing in their gameplays, and was referenced in ghost even as a trophy so more people know about sly cooper.
I commented on a PlayStation video about the new Spider-Man 2 and appealed to the game directors of PlayStation to bring Sly Cooper Trilogy and Jak and Daxter Trilogy to PC ports on Steam/Epic Store. But no one answered me back :(
Seeing the "Sly Cooper " gameplay footage in your videos, makes me wish the trilogy was availble on Steam/PC.

I’d honestly like to see a remake or reboot. It’s been a long time and I feel like Sony wouldn’t want to continue the story of thieves in time given it wasn’t received very well.

I agree 100% that a fifth game needs to happen! There is currently one small ray of hope: an independent company called Damsel Interactive is developing (drum roll please) Court of Thieves, were players get to play two different characters Cooper Fox and Asta Fox the son and daughter of both Sly and Carmelita! No I'm not making this up, you can look on RUclips and see for yourself! It's currently on halt as the developer had too many irons in the fire, but sooner or later an update will happen. It's being developed currently through Dreams. Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope and pray that something will happen.
Sorry I need to get off-topic off a minute, but I’m glad a new Rugrats game is coming out next year. Adventure in Gameland. Based on the original series of all things. Not the reboot. The reveal trailer looked amazing I think. You know what a big fan of the series I am right? Even more than SpongeBob.

Yes. I think the Sly franchise should follow in Resident Evil’s footsteps. As in further the timeline and reboot/remake at the same time. RE7 continued the timeline then RE2 got a remake two years later. If I had a billion dollar budget and my own company, I’m making Sly 5: The Master Thief and Sly 1 Remake the following year. I’ve been working on a fan project myself called Cooper Chronicles 👀 one will feature all of the ancestors getting an episode or two then another Cooper Chronicles game featuring Sly’s dad
There are a few things I want from a Sly 5:
First, bring Panda King, Dimitri and The Guru back. I love the main Cooper Gang trio as much as the next person but it was a nice change of pace adding new members to the roster. Especially when two of them were former enemies of theirs.
Second, Redeem Penelope. Her turncoat was COMPLETELY out of left field. All for the sake of a twist villain. A discount Neyla and Dr. M. I want her turncoat to be retconed, revealing that Le Paradox used Clockwerk's Eye to hypnotize her. It would explain why she hates Sly and wants to build weapons to take over the world all of a sudden. That way we get a proper explanation for her sudden change in behavior.
Speaking of Clockwerk, that leads us to the Third. Expand upon his backstory. Why does he hate and why is he jealous of the Coopers so much? How did it start exactly? Did they always steal things that he tried to steal? How did he invent that advanced mechanical body and the Hate Chip in 1300 BC? Was he really ahead of his time or did he have help?
Thieves in Time had a perfectly opportunity to expand upon Clockwerk. Instead, they made him a background Easter Egg along with his Eye. That Eye could've been reason Penelope turned of them. Seriously, brainwashing may be overdone a lot, but it doesn't necessarily have to be cliche if you try something interesting with it.
Also I wouldn't mind some old and new foes showing up. And Sly and Carmelita having a proper heart-to-heart about the whole amnesia thing. And for the love of God, NO. MORE. CLIFFHANGER. ENDINGS.

How about a spin off of sly cooper? Sure i would like to see sly 5 but if we have ourselves the stories like finding clues on where sly is for bentley, murray, and Carmelita to find sly and some answers like what penelope had been doing since she escaped from her prison cell.
Hmm... I think it's less risky to just go ahead and NOT make a spin-off to begin with, at least for the beginning.

Sly released back in 2013. Most the fanbase were either kids or didnt have much money. Now , if they released a game 10 years after, in theory, a majority of the fanbase has money to go and buy this game for the nostalgia factor, no? Wouldn't that be what Sony wants?
For me I believe the game should get a reboot cuz i want to experience a new story and new worlds,characters like a remaster or a remake would be beautiful but imagine how crazy a new story like todays games for example god of war and ratchet and clank rift apart the transitions between gameplay and cutscenes are insane. But we can only dream😪

I think the greatest problem for sly now is accessibility, and I know about ps premium and also emulation exists but problem with these options is that on PS plus the abonnement cost more than ever (and it’s streaming so without a good internet it’s not worth paying)and emulation not only require beter hardware with also costs but also I doubt much people can easily use it, I stil have the problem to emulate trylogy on ps3 emulator (yes, I have good enough pc to emulate)so these answers are not practical solutions especially if the targeted group are children, so if Sly want to stay on and show up more that I think remaster of the trilogy is a good start, and even if sucker punch don’t have time to work on it, Bluepoint is a great opportunity for something like that
I saying that mostly because I haven’t played any Sly game and I want to but but yea as I said, huge prices and technical difficulties don’t make it easy😢 and I hope for the same answer for ratchet and clank trilogies I only played a crack in time and it was amazing although streaming is not the best option for gaming truly

I would love a sly 5 if they do it correctly but at the same time I would not complain about a remastered or we make of sly 1 2 3 and 4 where the built the game up again from the bottom and maybe add some new stuff in the maps
I long for new Sly Cooper games, especially ones that introduce new members of the Cooper gang (hopefully including some girls who won't betray them like Penelope did)
I really love playing Sly 2 and Thieves in Time. I really hope Sly returns with Sly 5. Sly 5 should take the Sonic Frontiers route in terms of story, gameplay, and environments and I do like the idea of Sly’s adventures being recapped at the opening of Sly 5. I still want the Art Style to be like Thieves in Time with more cel-shading like Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
A recap would very much be needed!

Tin Foil Hat Theory: There hasn't been production on a new Sly Cooper game because they don't want to directly compete with a new GTA game releasing like they did last time when SLY4 released in the same year GTA V released.

As someone who never played any SC game but was aware of them I always thought and still think the original art style was/is really good.
I know sucker punch destroyed everyone’s hopes and dreams with the truth, but one last Sly game is what we all need to put the series to bed for good.
Technically they said they weren’t currently making one, they didn’t say anything about never making one.

I’ve been a big fan of the series since the beginning and though it’s been a decade since Sly 4 I still carry a torch for the series hoping to see a comeback… Honestly I think Sony’s become dare I say boring and predictable with it’s lineup, there’s not many big games to look forward to, so honestly it would be awesome to see Sly 5/a remake get announced and snap Sony out of the rut they’ve been in for a while…

If Sony were to ever try to have Sly return after so long, I feel they shouldn't have the previous games behind a PlayStation Plus paywall. Have the games be available to purchase without needing to subscribe and stream. More people would be willingly to try them out which could lead to more people wanting to see Sly return. I can see actually see Sly 5 working with the Rift Apart approach. The other games just need to be easily accessible.

Flashback level we never knew there would been a heist and sly returns to Egypt he has to avoid being seen until he meets slytunkalman writing the first page of the thevius raccoonus and sly asks to write a page to send a message but the pages are taken by a mysterious figure that figure is clockwerk and he scatters the pages in time it's up sly and his ancestor to steal back the parts from corrupt pharaoh at the same time Bently, Murray and carmelita would work on a time machine but secretly accompanied by Penelope she travels in time to stop her former team and sly as she is secrets clockwerk agent to aid her master. And clockwerk has a fiendish five custom pulled in time. All but Penelope defeated clockwerk and Penelope combine to stop the gang but sly sacrifices his cane. Now clockwerk and Penelope are like sideways and unicron who would go thru every length to stop the heroes
I still haven’t played sly4 and ratchet and clank future games and the spin offs I just hope that sly4 comes out on the ps4 or ps5 so i could play i it. I have played ratchet and clank rift apart and the ps4 game.

Sly 5 doesn't "need" to happen, however, I feel no matter how it happens, people will be happy with it, if 4 didn't end with a cliff hanger, I feel we wouldn't want this as much, even at all
I'd be worried that they would push in modern day political bs like in Spiderman 2, that stuff really messes with the escapism element. But I would love to get another game 👍
Hmm, hay Vivi, got a question for ya, if sly 5 would ever be made, what would you want there to be, like expectations of how it plays, and the story?
I'd be up for introducing some RPG-like elements. Complete wardrobe system, customizable outfits, stat boosts, etc. As for Sly 5's story, I'd picture split segments between Sly solo in Egypt, and present time Murray, Bentley and Carmelita with more fleshed out gameplay!
If Sly Cooper's series really does get to continue after Time of Thieves, then it's time to go scream for joy, letting everyone out after all these years of frustrating waiting
Thieves in time left a couple of things unsolved; That Sly and Carmelita's relationship could have ever worked and how Penelope went from that to just being a nasty bad guy
I, too, would've loved it more if Sly and Carmelita had a little heart-to-heart about the whole amnesia thing and how wrong it was for her to take advantage of him like that. And how wrong it was for him to pretend to be something he wasn't just to be with her. Sly just wasn't ready to retire or change. I really think their relationship could work. They go together like Batman and Catwoman. Even people with clashing ideals can fall in love with one another.
Besides, how does Carmelita know Sly was faking it the whole time? For all she knows, he could've gotten his memory back. It can happen. All it needs is a trigger.
Penelope turning evil was indeed out of left field. And her motivation doesn't make sense. Wanting to build weapons and dominate the world while suddenly hating Sly for "Brainwashing" Bentley? What did all of that crap come from? It's a cheap rehash of what Dr. M said. Are we sure she's not brainwashed? If she was hypnotized by Ms. Decibel or, Hell, Clockwerk's Eye then it would've made more sense. Especially, since Clockwerk's motivation was jealousy and hate for the Cooper Clan, it would explain why she hates Sly all of a sudden.
Also Penelope wasn't supposed to be a villain in Sly 4. It was originally a tech-headed mole character. But for some reason, they chose Penelope instead.

He even replaced his lungs, stomach and heart with this strange machinery. I can understand the heart, but why replace the stomach and lungs? There was even microchip that literally fuels his immortality with Hate. And if it's destroyed, his parts finally rust. How does that chip do that with hate? And yet, out of all of the parts, only one of his eyes remains. How is that possible?
The only logical conclusion is that either Clockwerk was REALLY ahead of his time. Or he scavenged the parts from Le Paradox's time-traveling blimp when it went to Ancient Egypt in the post-credits scene. If the latter is true, then that means Sly, Le Paradox and Bentley might've accidentally created the Cooper Clan's greatest enemy. Oh the cruel irony.

If Sly 5 comes out, the main boss could be somebody that knows someone of the Cooper Gang or Carmelita. I remember your video about Winthorp and he would make a perfect enemy for Sly Cooper. In Sly 4 Sly loved but alsow just used Carmelita. Winthorp could know that and just wants to help Carmelita by fighting Sly. But Winthorp can just hate Sly because Carmelita loved Sly but not him. Or: Penelope broke out so Winthorp became a couple with her and they both take revenge. Winthorp because Carmelita did never love him and penelope because Sly defeted her. Winthorp can get information behind Carmelitas back because he is her Assistant!
Although, Carmelita took advantage of Sly's amnesia and made him into something he wasn't. Plus, Having amnesia won't guarantee a "Drop-All-Charges Free" pass.
Sly only faked it so he could retire from thievery and be with Carmelita. It didn't forever because of his nature. He tried to be something he wasn't to be with the lady he loves and it didn't work because by the end of the day, he's a thief.
I doubt Sly believed the amnesia thing would fool her. He just winged it. She had feelings for him, too. So instead of arresting Sly, Carmelita pitied him and took advantage of it to be with him. If he really did have amnesia, I doubt it would've lasted forever. No memory can be erased entirely. And it would be wrong for Carmelita to take advantage of it like that.
A main boss making reference to Carmelita's ancestors would surely be interesting to have! After all, Carmelita is 4th gen cop in her family.
@@VtnVivi And the closest we ever got to a Carmelita ancestor reference was Tennessee "Kid" Cooper saying that Carmelita reminds him of a "feisty gal" he once met before she cut him off.
I wonder if all of her ancestors were cops or some other type of law enforcement officer.
