Loved the video! Some notes: - We have heard the criticism regarding the prototype map. We are fully aware of it's glaring issues, and we will make improvements in future updates. - The arcade mode difficulty doesn't only change his run speed. It changes a bunch of other stuff behind the scenes, such as how often sounds will set him off and how frequent he'll set traps. - Lighting for the main game only looks like that when shadows are turned down to the lowest settings. This is because the house uses custom lightmaps, while the other houses use the default auto-generated lightmaps. I wish I could fix this, but unfortunately the performance decreases significantly if the default lightmaps are used for the main house. This is just a UE5 thing, and there's not much we can do about it unfortunately. We're happy you enjoyed the game! :)

But I quite like how they brought back the Alpha 1 player's house and redid the interior to actually make sense. Also, love the new addition of the Tattletail Megaphone icon for when you make sound, you could never know if what you did made sound or not so that's quite nice. Also, yeah, that is Mr. Peterson's son, Aaron. Troubled kid, I like to think this is Mr. Peterson keeping his son safe in his basement, because the rest of his family is just dead. His daughter's gone, his wife is gone, all that's left is him and his own son. In the full game, Mr. Peterson feels a huge amount of regret falling over him after he fully locks his kid in the basement, like he's psychologically telling his son he is really sorry for doing this. It's quite sad, and makes some amount of sense from in the sequel, but I'll let you get to that point.

You can actually softlock yourself if you have the gray key and you get caught, as it goes to the lost and found box that is literally accessed with the same gray key. Also, if you play the prototype map again remember that a grave is behind the player’s house.

Also I wish they would fix the neighbor getting stuck outside of the house and dropped items going on top of you. Almost feels like they intentionally tried to emulate prototype behavior in a bad way.
