Job Points are tied to post game job selection priority.
If you and others vote on a job with a higher session JP (maxes to 90 per player iirc) it prioritizes the choice of the better/longer staying players in the lobby. So if 3 people vote on the next job 1 and their total is +45 points and 4 people vote on job 2 and they have +40 points, job 1 will be chosen.

1. The max CEO limit is in regard to game engine limits. They need to limit CEO’s in order to limit how much active missions are in a session. If all 30 players were CEO’s, and all of them were doing prep missions, all you would see if you wanted to host one is “this job is unavailable at this time”. It’s why prep missions are so heavily RNG based in terms of spawn location, You can’t have 30 players individually starting missions at Maze Bank.
2. Job Points are for playlists, This higher you place in each individual job means you get more JP, & get tallied up at the end for who has the most. But yh 2013 game means it’s outdated cuz why they giving it for single jobs?
3. I Think the restricted clothing is because it causes clipping issues w/textures.
4. Mundane activities like Showering, Sleeping & Shoplifting might serve no purpose, but tbh I’d rather have them in the game than not imo. But yh useless like interiors like The Music Locker, Record A Studios are pathetic.
With that in mind, still enjoyed the video, glad to see you’re going strong hope to see more in 2024 & following the release of GTA VI.

They don't want all 30 people in a room doing CEO work because then the prompt Rockstar gives you to destroy other people's work would be ignored by everyone because they're all doing they're own grinding.
If you limit the number of people running their businesses then you'll get people who are free roaming to follow the prompts to blow up their shit. The fact that Rockstar tells people to do it and then pays them for doing it basically guarantees it happening.
So from there you get people using the "hire" option which will include more people into the game play. It's a good idea ON PAPER but they obviously didn't take griefers into consideration.
I remember being a level 20 and trying to deliver weapons from my bunker. It wasn't even the stock weapons, it was just a 50 thousand dollar excess weapons delivery. I got chased down and blown up by a level 300 on a flying tin can. Why? A high level player who must have made hundreds of millions by that point blows up a level nothing with no money?
I never made a delivery in a public room again after that. Rockstar has CPU bad guys who somehow drive like They're in Fast and the Furious at times, an entire world of NPC drivers who are all seemingly out to get you, and a bunch of human assholes trying to kill you all rolled into one.

The worst part about shoplifting is that you can easily do it by accident. The spacebar for snacks in your business makes you get all snacks at once (which is useful. Who would only take a few and not full free snacks anyway?). But in the shop, it makes you steal.

Well, you can now get them in freemode. I think it was added last year. You can call Agent 14 to request a buggy.

A lot of these things are little roleplay features like showering and sleeping that allow you to perform actions as you are acting out your life in the game. Or they're surprises that immerse you in the world when you first start. Yes, they serve no productive purpose, but as you said in this video, they're pretty cool regardless.

Why not allow us to open the presents in our favorite apt/business of choice. A short cutscene of our character just tearing into the wrapping and opening the box for each would have been cool. Would of paired perfectly with the Happy Holidays Hauler.

The Report button actually can get someone banned, but there need to be a crap ton of them to do it. We tried intentionally banning someone's second character in my old crew and it did eventually work. That character literally did nothing at all so it had to be the Reports that did it.

I think sleeping used to increase the amount of time you could stay in a lobby before getting kicked out for being AFK but Rockstar removed that feature.
Also, it sets your spawn point for the next time you load into Online, which sounds useful until you realize you can just set your spawn point from a menu.

The Job Points do serve a minor purpose. If there is a tie in the job selection screen, the one with the most JP will be the tie breaker. It's not much but it is something.

they do get paid but they only get around 2k to destroy 2m worth of cargo so it's not even justifiable. if they were getting paid at least 50k I could probably understand and might even grief every once in a while myself lol. but overall I just hope rockstar leaves the griefing aspect in gta 5 but small chance.

Idk if I’m one of the only ones but I rarely, RARELY get greifed in public lobbies. I can recount once, maybe twice in the last year that someone tried to destroy cargo. I never go off the radar for things like bunker sell missions, cargo sell missions, or any of the smaller ones. The only one I go off the radar (CEO ability and then Lester totaling 4 minutes) is when I sell nightclub since that’s like $1,500,000+ per mission.

I wonder how many of these represent elements that they were thinking of expanding on later? I always thought that the bunker was going to grow with more elements - hence the golf carts, you don't really need them for how big the bunker is; perhaps the facility was going to be an extension of the bunker and then they changed their mind (the problem with that is it hides content behind bigger buyins, having to buy both properties for the new content). Same with Dr Dre, and the music locker - I think perhaps they had ideas to do something with both but just decided to create other things instead.

They actually updated the report feature at some point in the last few years. If you report someone for cheating they get a message in the corner saying R* are checking if you are. I was sat in a wall breach whilst going to pee and I saw it in the corner

Most annoying thing to me is that Kosatka doesn't come with sea sparrow, it comes with regular sparrow.
Also there is no option for us to stop picking random weapons from enemies. We unnecessarily have to drop weapon from our weapon wheel every single time.

What I could understand from rstar's logik in adding all these contacts in our phones, is that some may be called by us, while some are saved there just to justify they may send us messages or call us, such as Wendy, Briony, while Ancestor is calling us just in the prep mission. But they need to exist in contacts in order to justify the logik of calling. Yet, some of the notifications they send are already sent as game notifications, like the arcade full safe. I guess these interactions were meant to make game more human like experience..

The fees for the MC businesses are so insane. I want to use them but it's just not worth it because of that. Also, with the Acid Lab I can call Mutt to pause production and lose no product but with the MC businesses I have to shut them down AND I lose the product. They really need to fix that.

It used to be worse. The carrying costs for the businesses used to be much higher. I forget when exactly, but they’ve been adjusted downward or eliminated in some instances. It might of been around the time the agency came out.

If I'm running all the MC businesses and logged in as a Prez it really adds up every 48 mins. Some people say to disband and I won't be charged but I don't want to have to do that. I want to do things like MC contracts and steal supplies and both require me to be an MC while doing that.

3:24 This is a vestige from singleplayer. There are three banks in total and if you go to the wrong website for each character, it will say "no account under that name". If you go to the right website, there's only one button to see your transactions because there's no distinction between banked and cash money.

What’s worse about the clothing incompatibility, is that it won’t even adjust your top, bottom, or whatever, to show the item #1, and #2, to show an example of what you’d need to have on to wear this selected item. from what I remember reading Job Points are a decider if there's a draw for voting what mission/race to do next (if 2 missions have for example 4 split votes on them, the mission that will be chosen is the one that players with the most combined Job Points voted for)

Another useless fact is on the Cayo scope out when you do bike skip if there is a dude in front of you once you do bike skip just before the road the signal box will be on the bottom if he’s not there it will be on the tower. Cool fact

The report function is used still by players that don't know it doesn't work but menus don't bother to have protections against it anymore, there was a time when it was used to ban legit players as cheaters can just spam report anyone and you can have 1mil reports of being a cheater without even ever being with that player on the same session so R* had to start ignoring those... It's been 2 years since that happened as far as i know. If they will start using it again a lot of innocent player will start to get banned first. Before last GTAO update the easy way to check if someone has cheats is to report him, if your game crashes then that's a cheater, if not then it's innocent or someone with very bad cheats that are outdated.

I can remember somewhere in the early GTA Online days, going to the cinema and could have sworn seeing the FH-1 Hunter back then. Or it could have been the story mode cinema. Either way, saw that helicopter about 4 years before it was actually accesible xD

The hunter is based off of the Apache attack helicopter which is probably one of the most recognisable and popular attack helicopters so I’m not surprised if it turned up in a movie

@@AaronB1756 Yes I know, maybe my comment wasn't clear, what I meant was. I did some searching and knew I saw the Hunter before it was released. I saw the FH-1 Hunter in The Simian trailer in the GTA V cinema, it's a trailer that plays before Meltdown in the GTA V cinema. So the FH-1 was basically teased like 4 years before it actually released in GTA V (/Online).

Honestly, I wish they incorporated a factor into Record A studios where if you watch Dre once in the studio, the cutscene for the contract will be skippable then on out. When I first did the Record A studio, I was stoked because I thought it would've unlocked something but all it did was give me access to Franklin and Lamar missions that I really couldn't do at the time because one was bugged and was during the double money for them. I think if they won't do something like that, something like a garage or something should be offered .
But then again Rockstar is doing things all the time. Record A studios probably will just be there as a meh and somewhat useless property you get Franklin calling you about.
Dom and Brucey calls are very annoying though too.

Yes sleeping online is stupid and useless but serves a great purpose in story mode just like you said. it will fast forward time 6 hours for Trevor, 8 hours for Michael, and 10 hours for Franklin.

I’ve been guilty of that so I opt out of being ceo if all I’m doing is driving around. Gives another player the spot then. If I need it again I’ll get it back no problem but yeah I get your point for sure.

I figured out a way to join a lobby while your CEO or President of your MC. In a private session register as either one, then join a public session. Hope that helps. Those are very useless features and could have been used wisely, but that's Rockstar's logic for you lol. Again TGG, great content as always and I look forward to new ones! that doesn’t always work, sometimes it will join you to a lobby that is full of ceo’s and retire you. that said it’s the best method and what i use personally but again not 100% effective

Rockstar logic:
Ingame feature to report a hacker to get them out of the lobby, but the hacker with a mod menu kicks you from the lobby first. (Third party software is much more powerful than the actual game mechanics, go figure.)

9:10 When in a mission, players will get 15 JP by default for successfully completing the mission. If a player completed the main task during a mission (eg: collect the documents for Rooftop Rumble), they will receive 16 JP. This principle also applies to Deathmatches, where the Most Valuable Player will be awarded an additional Job Point (16 total for an MVP on the winning team).
JP will be displayed in GTA Online sessions beside the player's name. When swapping or leaving sessions, it will be reset to 0 JP.
Job Points are used to determine tiebreakers on the job selection menu. For example, if there is a lobby of 10 people, and 5 vote for one job and 5 vote for the other, the side with the largest sum of JP will be the one that gets the ruling.

i just googled what jobpoints do. If you vote for a job in the interaction menu, and 5 people voted for one and 10 voted for another job, then the one with the most job points gets the ruling

If a lobby has met, it's the CEO/mc limit. Instead of going to a different public lobby, just go to a Crew lobby. You can do all the business work in a crew as you would do in a public lobby. In a crew lobby, you can be absolutely alone with no other players bothering you completely by yourself or you and your friends.

Not only is the report feature useless, but it is also completely broken. At least for me. Every single time I tried to report someone my game crashed. So I just gave up.

You are probably on PC right? Because modders can see who reported them. Basicly when reporting them you can put a big target on yourself. :c
