No lore around this Kiana is good since she is supposed to be asleep until APHO, possibly until HSR. That was my main concern since what’s the point of a send off and goodbye to the character at the end of part 1 if they are just gonna bring her back within a year. That being said, nothing they do is non canon, so where does this outfit come from. Maybe there is lore significance and she is coming back or maybe this is the start of a new alternate world like the Captainverse. I guess we will find out.
My guess is that Hoyo is intentionally releasing her as SD instead of BIO for 2 reasons: 1. Hoyo knows how much their players love Kiana and are after the reception her HoFi Part 2 upgrade received, they wanted to create a brand new battlesuit for her to capitalize on it. 2. The reason she's not BIO is because they're reserving that for the battlesuit after her, most likely Helia's S-Rank Battlesuit.

I am kind of wondering if they have decided to shelve Part 2 characters somewhat. They have (apparently) killed off Coralie, made all the Mars natives sims and Helia seems to be completely losing the plot and going off a cliff. Plus, they have kind of hinted we will probably be going further back in time which doesn't really suggest much chance for development for Sim characters apart from those who seem to be free (at least mentally) from the resets. I love to see the part 1 characters turning up and I am thrilled to see Kiana appearing (though my bank balance will suffer) but I am kind of disappointed that the new characters seem to have faded in relevance apart from the Dreamseeker herself. Hopefully we will at least get Sena back soon.
I’m not even sure that dreamseeker takes much of a main character role at all, she doesn’t have nearly as much important moments or screen time compared to how a main character should be, she’s kind of just.. there? They really just made part 2 part 1.5 again in a different flavour

I am happy for anyone being excited, but personally I think it is time to move on from Hi3. Part 2 story, too many back to back valks and no grindable ones and generally "fatigue" with the nonsense events is breaking me. Sad to know all my progress with Tuna and even pulling the new Divine Key doesnt matter.
Your point is understandable, even though they give away their stigmas for free, not having a break is something that really sucks, but the solution is simple, just don't go for that character, it's like saying if you're not a player who goes for the meta, then it would easily be not going for that character and saving it for one that interests you or that you want, like me, who's not a meta, but if you're a meta player, then things get complicated, because it's mandatory to have that character or else it may not be very useful depending on what the meta players say.
@adamrimachiayala In Part 1 and Part 1.5 I used to be top 5 in Nirvana (proof of this is somewhere on my channel). What I found to be particularly bad is how strong newer characters are at base S0. It makes you feel bad for having a super strong SSS units with near perfect gear and now there are weathers and stages where you are not even competitive in Red Lotus 🤣 (looking at you S0 Songue vs SSS Milstein). Anyhow, my era is over. Peace out!

Stardust's one of the best, tho. Since it's the only one without a counter (besides itself) - so at the very worst you deal neutral DMG to enemies, at best you do 30% more.

This Kiana is an event character like SIrin. She's not waking up in part 2
