I don't think people realize how difficult it is to have your guard high the entire time while bobbing and weaving your head like Jesse Rodriguez does. Most boxers either have their guard up without head movement or either have their guard low with head movement. Jesse's style is a testament to his discipline and technique.

This is what happens when you mold your fighting style from somebody who knows the craft of defense and offense. And yes I'm talking about Loma. This fighting style is what the boxing needs. I do hope trainers and aspiring boxers would adapt this style. Im tired seeing those fighters who always stick to defense, they lack the mindset to punish opponents with punches while doing some enormous defense. But with Rodriguez he just did that.

I feel everyone should stick to a style they comfortable with, if they Wanna be defensive let them be, if they wanna be offensive let them be, if they wanna have fancy footwork let them be.

@righteousrebellious43 it's not an opinion, it's the truth, you should never force a fighting style on your fighter, not all styles works for everyone.

I want them to understand that it's the most efficient, most effective style to punish opponents and secure wins. I will have them copy this style in actual sparring, and ask them after what they found out and why this style effective. If they don't still understand, then the lecture begins, the boxing ring is like a stage for dance, and the boxer is the dancer, the more versatile you are as boxer the more moves you can execute.This boxing style is so versatile that it is very hard to predict and solve.
Well, for the most part boxers at 20s sadly will not be able to adpat this, however, if a trainer has full understanding of this boxing style. The best way to unleash it's potential is to teach it to a young child who just staring the sport. Children are observant and curios, even if they don't yet understand the principle, they will box since fighting keeps them going. Once they grow up, they will understand and improve it more.

Why did they cancel his title fight last minute? Don’t give no bullshet of visa problems with Soto. We all knew the “title fight” was just to attract people into coming to the arena because the Mikey garcia vs sandor fight was straight up garbage and then they “canceled” last minute, it was never materialized

This kind of boxing style seems like the evolution of Ricky Hitman Hatton Style. The waving, the shifiting of the angle it reminds me of hattons boxing, its just that it is not yet perfected. Now Loma, Usyk, and Bam introduce this style and it is so mesmerizing to watch. I hope theyll upgrade it as the kryptonite for the philly shell, which a style that will make a fighter look boring, although some users of it wins.

Just recently learned about Jesse Rodriguez and besides Naoya, this kid is one of the greatest boxers I’ve watched in recent times. I’m not talking about record, he just does everything so perfect. Beautiful footwork, has pop, very sound defensively, high IQ, just overall great man. I love how he throws that hook and keeps the other hand right by his face protecting his chin from a counter. Can’t wait to see him Saturday night against his toughest test to date 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

I hadn't watched this great kid before. I watched a fight of his yesterday for the 1st time and Loma and USYK came to mind straight away..
The way he keeps moving and changing his height, up & down constantly and this lovely jump/slide to the side like Loma's move is beautiful to watch. He throws those uppercut like Usky up under the high guard from angles u don't nornally expect.. I've not been this impressed with a young fighter for a long long time. I'm looking forward to seeing a lot more of his development as he begins moving through the weight classes. What weight is he at atm please guys?? I never checked it.. Is he flyweight, Bantam or featherweight??
