At 4:20. The telephone pmbx link room. The "A" rack is for the cable coming in from the street and the "B" rack is for the extensions within the bunker. There would've been a mix of direct lines and the rest through "Sylvester" type manual plug to connect switchboards as they could be used to ring without Power. The 2 battery banks would've nominally been 48-50V DC.
Your opening sequence reminded me of the movie "Threads". Not for those faint of heart. Well done. Worth watching the full hour. So much interesting stuff going on at that place. Cheers.
Did well getting in there. I’d really like to see a video on an Rotor R7 bunker. They usually sit a few miles away from the main Rotor Site. There’s one at a certain bunker in Suffolk I know you’ve been to but there hasn’t been a report on it in years
What a sad waste to see an obviously functional civil defense bunker just abandoned and put to disuse. So many possibilities could've kept it operational and useful.

We need more bunkers-turned-nightclubs. Really hits that 80's doomerdance vibe. Awesome vid.

👏🏻 great explore, I love the cold war explores. That Perkins generator diesel engine is a golden gem! Would love to clean it up. Only 249 hours use!
GREAT FINDS AND GOLDEN GEMS FOLK , HOW EARLY WAS THE OPERATIONS IN THE MINE , TAKE CARE BROTHER 👌👌
1950s this was built for civil defence:)
Amazing on RUclips abandoned bunker location video 😎😯👍
Used to use the old mercury tilt switches in bakery equipment years ago.
Excellent video folks....
The hour meter on the generator showed x100 so it would have done 24900 hours.
Cool video Ian 😎

Needs editing folk might be the next video I’ll try lol
Amazing place and great video, thanks for sharing folks.
Wonderful to see the old electromechanical equipment.
Hopefully the stuff will stay in the bunker for a long time.
It would have been nice to see this after your Government closed the doors and before it got trashed
I really like the plant machinery and vintage electronics! What a place :-D
Golden gem 👍
You pair always notice stuff I'd never have seen lol roll on the next trip 😁
I can't believe you didn't notice the telephone switchgear was all behind the projection screen. I wonder what they used to show on that.

Great video guys it would be interesting to see what the modern equivalent bunker with modern tech would look like
Top secret, we won't know for decades I suspect, if ever.
More of a chared gem this one .
IDK about you guys, but I'm getting the nuclear war vibe these days.
Same here. If cooler heads do not prevail (and if Putin does not do an about-face on his war), we might see it soon. Hoping I’m wrong.
Given the current situation should we not start digging
Holy Golden 💎 Gems
do you know where to get pictures of this when it was in use
Excellent place
