I found it crappy that out of the 3 interethnic relationships that made it to the meet the parents episode, NONE of the white partners parents were featured. Just a small bit during the wedding. Whereas the audience got to meet both of the white couples (Amber/Barnett and Kelly/Kenny) families in that episode. Also, the fact that only 1/3 interethnic couples are shown discussing how it may impact their relationship is also very...interesting. On one hand maybe they really didn't discuss it (although it is important to discuss especially given the situation), which kinda explains why neither of those engagements worked out bc they weren't having a serious discussion that could possibly effect their relationship, whether they got married or not. On the other hand maybe they did discuss it and Love is Blind chose to highlight Lauren and Cameron bc their racial difference is way more evident just looking at their families. The one possibility I don't accept is that they just couldn't get to them. That's the easy way out lol I refuse to accept they didn't have the resources to make it happen. Even if it was just a 10 min video chat. The audience wants that authenticity. They WANT to get to know the people in the show (Also ik Damians family wanted nothing to do with Gigi and..... i hope the pause speaks for itself cuz i can't EVEN)

I’ve watched every interview of them thousands of times, and my daughter says I have a problem. I love the way they love, my husband looks at me the Cameron looks at Lauren and we have been married for 33years(we are also an interracial couple him being White and I Black). For me it was hard because like Lauren and her family I am pro Black in a Black Panther kind of way.
