I am trying to locate the serial number. It is not located at any of the locations that customer service has directed me to. Is the serial number on the back of the stove? I hope not because I can not move this huge thing. Also, I agree, customer service is atrocious! I could not even get information as to if there was a local Meile repair person. Before they could give any information at all...they require a serial number. It is like a secret code before they will even talk to you or help you. AGH!
If you remove the toe kick it will be located behind that toekick. It should be attached via magnets so it will pop off very easily. Best of luck once you find that number service for Miele is great!
Don't buy... It is a beautiful piece but the quality is not good at all. Big issues with the gas burners and the microwave makes a LOT of noise. On top their customer service is so, so bad. It is simply not worth the money!
Almost exactly the same experience. We have the first version of this appliance. Burner issues, microwave makes a loud banging noise at start up, warming tray control panel periodically works. The main oven works great. Our local reseller has been out to work on it 6 times. They are going to eat the cost and replace it. I had hoped Miele had fixed the issues by the third iteration but who knows. I think they are on the 3rd version now.
