These are all very good points. I never thought that far ahead about Kaspa mining, but you are right. If there is no incentive (MEV) and no more blocks, how will the network remain stable? I feel this topic should be talked about more often.
Maybe with stablecoins + inscriptions + smart contracts there will be enough volume of transactions for the miners.

The founders were well aware of this at creation pf the protocol.. the idea is for Kaspa to play a major role in defi/finance. Its a feature not a bug, if Kaspa is not used there would be no point in sustaining the blockchain.
Core devs said many times that Kaspa will have MEV capability without actually using the traditional MEV available currently in many blockchains
Dude listen to Yonatans last interview he talks about it. TL:DR, Kaspa will pay MEV to the actual miner that mined the block.....come on with some better content bro
Where does the MEV come from?
I just listened to his interview with Uphold and he says exactly the opposite. Miners will be incentivized to provide MEV as kickback to the users, miners won’t even be making MEV.
@@slowesttimelord user = miner/node op I assume, the details are not clear, but if there is no MEV I don't see how this project will survive. Listen to what Yonatan says, "you will get compensation for the MEV that was done at your expense"
@@Murr808 MEV is at the user’s expense when something like sandwich attacks or front running happens. It’s a negative experience that the auction model hopes to solve by giving that extracted value back to the user. I don’t see how it’ll survive either.

when miners mined all kaspa , they can still able to mine from the transaction fee's. kaspa will have smart contract coming and that will help kaspa get more transaction in kaspa ecosystem. the only risky about kaspa if can kaspa able to compete to the layer 1 like solana & etherium? if not, then kaspa is doomed. but if, kaspa is fully adopted then they will be the best layer 1 proof of work in all crypto.

Spend 100W/h for 200Gh is no cost in an normal home and if is support by solar, we can assume no cost at all, so single miners can support the network with low energy cost and win some value with Kas price. Kaspa mining future It's not for big farms. In fact, Kaspa is different from general concepts and standard ideas.

When it was all planned, they were going to use optical miners, which would have been incredibly inexpensive to mine. But that hasn't happened and it looks like it never will. Part of the beauty of Kaspa is the low low fees. Change that and the only thing left is the speed. But high fees will make Kaspa unusable as a payment system. Sell at the top of this run.

YS literally said he is going to do 100 BPS with POW, meaning POW is the only way to stay truly Decentralized
@@yojomojo It is not possible on the current emissions schedule. Not unless people decide they like it so much that they're willing to mine unprofitably. I suppose that it's also possible they could work with ASIC manufactures to do their own algo - but that's the opposite of decentralization so, yeah, we're back to just Kaspa fucked up the emissions schedule and it will become a shitshow.
