Glad you checked this one out. The song AND the video are both purely joyous!! I don't know if the Nickelodeon reference was intentional or not, but I agree with your sentiment in this case. Most of the non-group video clips you see in this video were actual home videos sent in by fans at the group's request. There are numerous cameo appearances from celebrities and other RUclipsrs, as well as just normal fans, who submitted videos for inclusion. For the closing shots, PTX invited anyone who wanted to participate to show up at the Santa Monica Pier on a certain day at a certain time, and THOUSANDS showed up. The group made sure that everybody present got a chance to be seen in the video. That's why they did the extended credits piece at the end. You mentioned anniversaries. Their tenth year anniversary as a group is coming up in just a few weeks (although Scott, Mitch & Kirstie have been together much longer than that).

The people in the video are fans. They had fans send in videos singing parts of the song or performing something. They put out a call for fans to meet them at a location in California, those are the people in the background with them at the end of the video. There are several stars in the video (who are also fans).
This is one of my favorites of all their originals. Always puts me in a good mood.

I do know that Scott, Mitch and Kirsten all went to school together and sung in high school together. Kevin was studying to become a Doctor, and was already a great cello player, he had played at carnagy hall. Avi was found through a friend of Scotts

I wasn't a HUGE fan of this song until they started opening their concerts with this one(used to be Daft Punk)..so much energy and perfect for a whole group of people to sing together!

Great song but all the movement was a bit frantic. Still I got to see a bit more of Kevin and Avi. X
It's upbeat, and music always makes a person feel something, different songs, different feel. Um, this song isn't really my style, they do have good music, but this song isn't going to make my playlist.
I think it was fun but not something I’d listen to over and over. Too busy though.
