I think this is more noticeable on the original mix than the remaster. Both of the mixes interestingly have things either added, missing, or buried in the track. There's a guitar in the last chorus that plays a high down walking chromatic riff with the last few times he sings the acronym. I can't really hear it on the remaster. It sounds like there is a synth that plays with Jeffs solo on the remaster which I really cant hear on the original, though it might be there if you use a good set of headphones. There's a lot of oddities in general on this album. I remember listening to the original mix of Into The Lungs Of Hell and noting the sour bent note at the start because I had only heard the remaster which had corrected this. To me the original mix has too much reverb and treble. The remaster sounds like an unfocused muddy bass and mid heavy mess.
That pretty great That's the problem with so far , it's fantastic album but the production kill it and the remastered 2004 made better but it didn't helped that good i miss the blast drum sound of the orginal but the remastered have cleaner guitars and bass

Fuck how did I not hear this before’ this riff is hella sick
It's difficult to catch but train your ear to hear for it and you'll hear it. It's easier with the original mix than with the remaster, tho
This is now my favorite Megadeth riff
Finally 😭😭😭 I was tired of the 0-0-0-0 covers.
