It is never too late to start. I was not able to begin HRT until I was 56 years old but my life is much improved over the last 3 years since I have been publicly presenting as female.
Magic girl potion goes as follows; start with human body comprised of mostly water. Other elements ok, no need to purify water content. Add hrt to human body. Often found locally under different names. Titty skittles, fem&m’s, tit taks, antiboyotics, notorious hrt, etc. Add new estrogen on a regular cycle, taking into account your estrogen type. Estrogen patches don’t work well as injectables, for instance. Continue regular additions of estrogen and head pats as needed, monitor progress and be prepared for happiness, booba, and sudden realizations of womanhood. Hope this helps. I’ve only read how to make this potion, so I’d suggest confirming with more experienced alchemist or reminding me to return in three months after my Gender Specialist appointment (31/01!).

Have you started meds? They really help. Estradiol is magic. It tastes like candy and makes ya soft and pretty. Depending on what state you’re in it can be shockingly easy to get and is dirt cheap.

Re. transphobia IRL - my sample size is small, but so far most of what I'm getting is just people being awkward. Whatever they believe, the general vibe is "I'm not used to being around trans people and I'm kind of self-conscious about it". The people who are wandering around online looking for opportunities to be hateful aren't going to magically know there's a trans person at the gas station and swarm you. I don't think there are that many of them, they're just good at finding places online to be hateful.
Whether the "being awkward" people would accept a trans person in their social circle is a totally different question, but in casual interactions they're not trying to pick fights with strangers.
Regarding voice training... one of the things I've been doing is learning to play a jaw harp. It's a venue for manipulating different parts of your vocal tract to get different noises (and changing pitch is basically "move your larynx up and down without changing much else"). I get really self-conscious about messing around with my voice while speaking, this sidesteps that. It also removes vocal cord pitch entirely from the question. I don't know if this is a good idea as voice training, but it's amusing to me and I'd been wanting to learn jaw harp anyway.

You could just be gender-nonconforming. I thought I was simply a trans woman for many years and was miserable because I repressed my male gender identity. Then I realized I could be both. So now I identify as a gender-nonconfirming guy and also a trans woman. I really thought I was cis and was considering detransitioning but I realized that I'm just bigender. I hope this is helpful.

You can try feminizing HRT for a month or two with no permanent effects. I did and it saved my life. I am not a doctor and this is true according to my personal experience and research.

Truth is, until recently, I was a reluctant AMAB bigender person. I put in the work to fully accept myself and the freedom and joy that comes from knowing i DID develop the "girl" gender and I'm allowed to be "girly" if that's what it takes to express myself. I've watched most of your affirmation videos and I adore them.
It even made me really happy when realized I kinda like same things as you. Like Hamtaro, Totally spies, Kim possible... etc (I'd also recommend stuff like The winx club, Monster high, MLP...etc)

Tbh I sometimes suffer from dysphoria, internalized transphobia, doubt and mostly access to health care being kind of impossible

The whole disassociation thing you talked about is really relatable. I don't think I've ever heard anyone talk about anything like in relation to being trans before.

I honestly don't think im trans, but i wanted to read the comments, and also, i was curious if the choice of Leaf/Female Pokémon Trainer for the thumbnail would come up
Truth is, until recently, I was a reluctant AMAB bigender person. I put in the work to fully accept myself and the freedom and joy that comes from knowing i DID develop the "girl" gender and I'm allowed to be "girly" if that's what it takes to express myself.
The jokes of "Im half trans girl" are no longer a joke 😂
Ok well I didn't expect to be so deeply impacted by this. I've been downplaying my desire to transition to everyone besides me for as long as I've known my true gender.
Regardless of what I choose, this nourished my soul.
