Thank you so much, I love how your videos show different levels not just the final boss right away, which helps pick the one for your needs. I add to the comment by others curious about an oil setup, since you are so detailed on your guides.
Hey, just wanted to let you know that your videos have been great so far. All of them have been very informative and helpful when it comes to setting up anykind of modular farm, and I greatly appreciate all of the math behind the outputs of every farm. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing more videos in the future.
Fire. I was actually able to get a blackfell spot on my new server and having trouble deciding how to prioritize builds in an all rounder function. I don't use hives so I can't just be the oil guy or the stardust source guy. Gotta do everything myself
His earlier video for the passive acid farm setup work great for the acid-oil version too. I have it setup with a few modifications. First I assume you’re at the spot where you can pump both oil and acid with the same water pump. You need setup 6 rain collectors at the none polluted area. Connect them to a purifier then buffer tank for water. Use the same setup in his earlier video but increase the pump to 6x4. Connect the buffer tank to your brewer and setup two platforms at both sides for easy access to four level of all the pumps so that you can collect oil directly from them.
@@k3Fallen running this setup for a week now. I think it’s pretty self sufficient with 6 rain collectors. I did kick start the whole thing by boiling a whole tank of dirty water earlier. Now I have more purifier water than my 6 brewer can process.
I noticed that you can connect many pipes at two points. For example on the water tanks, you can make pumps flow into the tanks on the same level of you connect the pipe to the bottom point of the tank by flying near the bottom of the tank. If you try to connect it to the top it will use the other connection point and flow away from the tank. Pretty helpful for not wanting to place everything much higher 👍
Wow, the upgraded level 4 build is actually really cool and genius, the offline purifier bug is so annoying. But i actually just cant comprehend how the filtering works LOL but kudos Also as a tip, the purifier bug happens because, in simple terms, offline your base is confused by water pumps pulling in different things, so i have one switch controlling my pure water production, and i have my pumps for polluted water setup so it only takes in polluted. Before going offline if you just toggle the pure water production off, the impure acid production will run flawlessly, at least in my experience.
I actually disagree heavily. Annoying background music that doesnt suit the taste of 90% of the audience is the bane of the last years of content creators. It is one of these topics that can improve your content a lot if done right, but is often not done right. Music is too loud, too cliche and ofc the aforementioned taste. I personally am very happy with these videos not having annoying music in them but instead be actually focused on what matters, without distractions.
I was trying to follow the Build but for some reason i am not able to use small foundations or small square walls to replicate this setup. I am using wood. I can't place small walls to form the Box then put a water tank down. It apparently is too big to fit into the box. I'm also unable to snap 2 Water Tanks on top of each other and have to eyeball despite grid snap being turned on. Am i missing something? 😅
Will you be updating these builds to make them blueprint-able like your recent acid farms? These are good designs but not easily rebuildable with how the pumps are placed
I don't know why but the tank cannot be placed on small foundation surrounded small walls anymore. I tried it in everywhere and just not worked at all.
i tried everything to get the water pump to be over the water tank and it doesn't work at all at 1:15. i either i get one in but not exactly how u did it and i cant get the other pump in.
What's the point of piping the Water tank full of impure acid and purifier of impure acid into the Barrel? the barrel doesnt seem to be taking the impure acid
Hi bro i love you work. I have an issue though, when placing waterpumps i am not able to place them directly on top of eachother like you are. How do i get around that to achieve the neat look like yours? It's buggin me out
Can someone explain to me how my set up worked for a few days and until today (new update) my entire system messed up. My water storage all went crazy. They were no longer going to the osmosis instead directed towards the middle water storage. I spent almost all day trying to fix along with height but it refuses to work properly.
Yes there’s a major difference and this channel not any comments I can see mention it. If you place the pump touching water at a contaminated spot like in this tutorial you will get a mixture of contaminated and dirty/sea water. If you place your pumps like 20 feet from the waters edge you will ONLY get contaminated water. Which, if you’re trying to get acid is obviously the far superior placement choice.
agree with the maximum performance. but playing like this is quite exhausting, especially most of the resources are not going with us to the next season.
@@patrickdedauw265 rotate them outside. it does matter how u place those small walls. I they are directed inward, they will take more space, and u won't be able to place the tank
Can this be saved as a blueprint? I also tried doing something similar, it will save everything but not the water pumps. :( Also awesome build! It is really compact and looks neat.
I only did superficial test, and 1 consumed about 100 pure water / 2 hours. but I haven't tested, is there difference when the plot is irrigated or no. if no difference, then 4800 Pure Water / Day (200 / hour).
I make +600 impure acid per hour but you can't calculate per day because when you are offline it doesn't produce the same and now even less since they say they have capped production because of people who have multi-accounts
whats is the point of those? why would you want purified water in conatminated area, wasting power that could go into acid. edit: also thanks you and nice content!
Because 1 Irrigation facility requires about 100 Pure Water every 2 hours. Plus you need it for cooking and animals, same like for production boiling water, and you need quite a lot of it for building planter boxes. and ofc any of module can be stopped any time using switches.
@@evilkamatis542 @KIAN I see thks. Those builds are fantastic!. Compact, smart what else could you want.
I can't put pump on the top anymore after the lastest update. says:"overlap with existing building structures". Does anyone has same issue?
Can you build a Acid-Oil-Farm Construction please? :)
Which includes Barrels,Pumps and Refinery
