- The most recent Impulse Tomography (ARBOTOM) and resistance micro-drill testing revealed 2 fungi present in 80% of the trunk. The fungi were: Southern Bracket (Ganoderma adspersum) and Brittle Cinder (Kretzchmaria deustra). Due to the close proximity to the road and house, the decision was reluctantly taken to remove this beautiful tree. Complicated by the presence of a telephone cable, CH Stokes used a huge crane for the removal.
Filmed with a Panasonic GH5 with DJi RoninSC gimbal, a DJI Phantom 4 Pro+ drone, a DJI Mavic Air 2 drone and several GOPRO's.
Edited in Adobe Premiere Pro, music licenced through Envato (Audio Jungle)
Really great video and well executed job. Good work fellas!!!
Thanks Matt Glynn 👍
Awesome video and description of why it happened. Great description and diagnosis of the tree as to why it was removed. Most arborist these days are a joke, but not you sir. New sub alert!
Thanks Craig. I'm not the arborist I just make the videos. Chris (the arborist) takes his work very seriously and we always work together to try to explain what is going on. There are very few videos made like this in the UK. Thanks again😀. Dale
Nicely put together.
Thanks Ross. Would you fancy being on the end of that hook?

Wow, that’s a fantastic video of what looked like a very tough job... shame it had to go but I guess it’s for the best... is that at the top of Rushmire?
Thanks Lee. No it was the other side of Chipping Sodbury. It was riddled with fungus!
