It was a fun test. We planted the seeds out to flats and got nice little bean plants started! Stay safe!

Resilient Seeds (WA) specializes in beans and grains with a few other staples that grow well in our weather. She still has lots of a variety and organic.

Thanks @Anne Beck for the tip on this site! We went to the site and placed an order for some interesting beans. She's getting slammed at Resilient though. We'll see how it goes

Do you have a video on how to make the OHN? Will you use this on your flower seeds? I can't wait to try.

Hi @Georgia Peach We haven't done a video series on this but Chris Trump has a great video on the whole process step by step explanation. Follow this link ruclips.net/video/iQSOCoyMmMU/видео.html Yes we have used the Seed Enhancing Solution which contains FPJ+(Brown rice Vinegar)+ OHN on many of our seeds.

Thanks again for a very interesting video. We are a bit behind you when it comes to starting a garden but this gives us something else to try.

Super! We just wanted to see if bulk purchased bean seed would germinate. These maybe F1 Hybrids and may not be true to their parent but we thought growing some of these out would be worth a shot.

I have to admit, I will be looking into Korean plant growing methods for fall /winter crops. This is intriguing

I was wondering if small red beans are bush beans or what I call pole beans?

Would it not have been better to have soaked the bean in water for the untreated group since it might be the immersion in fluid that causes the high germination rate? Thanks for your videos so please keep 'em coming

Possibly true. Although my past experience in soaking seeds in plain water has yielded spotty germination. However, your point is well taken so I think I'll repeat the experiment and see what happens. Thanks!

Could you do a step by step ideo showing how to make the Seed Enhancing solution? I couldn't find one on your channel showing the full process. This ideo just shows the two solutions already made and the rice inear. Not sure how you made the tincture or the other stuff; how much of each ingredient.

You're right I haven't made a video specifically showing how to make OHN. Nor have I done one specifically showing how to put the solution together. If you need the answer quickly I recommend finding Chris Trump channel on RUclips. He goes into depth on how to make the Oriental herb nutrient called ohn and what the right ratios are for the seed soaking solution. His videos are really detailed towards how to make these basic solutions. I want to thank you for watching and thanks for the question.

Do you think scarifing would be helpful with beans?

    • @BareMtnFarm

It could be. Although my impression is the bean seed coating is fairly thin and once moist for awhile splits fairly easy. Might be worth a try though.
