Looks like a great bunch of blokes. Love it.
Ronny thank you for another great and helpful video. Your videos are the best keep it up man
Hi rony Good idea for your roasts and pizza in the Weber I use my camp oven lid upside down. The handle fits perfectly between the two grills
I like how dusty and sandy that grill is❤️👌🏻real life bush shit
Now that was a fantastic video!!!
Leave the professional out of it sometimes, nothing better than just keeping it real.
Good on you guys for having fun and being so genuine.
You caught the ethos of camping for me :)
Crackling! If it's not ready on top I use a plumbers gas gun to finish it off, works great! 👍🏻
brilliant "stuff that looks good is probably bad for you" love it just love it
and take a few beers before all bits to camera, pizza segment and the banter at the camp site in the last episode of coast to coast just great
Really appreciate you taking the time, guys.... well done, ''hi'' from Tangambalanga!
Great entertainment! Hilarious! Love your stuff, mate!
Hey Ronny, in celebration of Canada's 150th birthday we tried a Pork Roast on our Q1200, using your technique. Although we couldn't find a roast with as much fat to crackle it was still awesome. Thanks for this and all of your other great videos!
Classic episode Ronny!👌
why did i start watching this, bloody starving now.
Cheers master chef Ronny
Ronny - Wife and I love your channel - VIDEOS - Thank you!
Brilliant mate, love it. Going to give this a go! Nice job.
Try peach dump cobbler. I do it in a Dutch oven, but you should be able to do it in your Weber Q with a bit of practice to get temps and times right.
*Preheat your oven Q to 350F. (you can convert to C if you like)
*Take an average sized baking pan for something like box mix brownies and drop in 4 to 5 half tablespoons of butter randomly in the pan.
*Take one ~15oz can of peaches with the liquid into the baking pan.
*Take a second can of peaches and pour the liquid from it into the first can and save for a later step.
*Dump these peaches (without the liquid) into the baking pan with the first can of peaches.
*Spread the peaches around to evenly distribute them in the pan.
*Now dump in one box of spiced cake mix. DO NOT STIR or MIX, just dump it in and carefully spread it out evenly over the peaches.
*Drop 3-4 more half tablespoons of butter randomly onto the cake mix. DO NOT STIR or MIX.
*Carefully drizzle the can of peach liquid from the second can into a Tic Tac Toe pattern over the cake mix. DO NOT STIR or MIX anything!!!
*Now place this in your Weber Q the same way you set up for pizza (but try to keep your heat at 350F).
*Bake for 45 mins to an hour, or until the top of the cake looks brown with cookie like texture, with bubbly stuff in areas where the liquid and or butter were placed.
NOTE: The smell will drive you nuts the closer it gets to completion.
Eat it warm with a scoop of v'nilla ice cream, or cold for breakfast. Da Bomb!
You an thank me later!
Excellent video
Really love these cooking episodes. I love food. Lol!!
Great vid as usual. It is actually quite easy to install a thermometer on a BabyQ if you have on old barbie that is destined for verge collection. Remove the thermometer from the old BBQ, mark out hoes, drill and install. Works great. I highly recommend the Weber meat thermometer for a perfect roast every time. They aren't cheap but good for peace of mind.
Great video! I love cooking on my Weber genesis. Remember rule number 1, when you're lookin' that shit ain't cookin'! Keep the lid closed as much as possible
Love ya work mate thank you 👍

Awesome mate, love my WeberQ🤪
Damn it, now I have to go & buy a Weber Q. Great video Ronny.
Tip with the pork rind.
Use a clean Stanley blade/knife.
Cheap and easy :)
Love ya Ronny! Keep it up!!!
Then you get the salt and Mass-sodge it in
You ever try grilling vegetables and using a wood chip box? Delicious! You can do pineapple, zucchini, kiwi, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, etc. I've also cooked a whole chicken in my Weber ;)
Thanks Ronny for another cooking video! Seeing you make pizza in the Weber Q many videos ago inspired me to try it in mine and now I don't make them any other way. The bottoms are crunchier than ever still I haven't burnt a single one. But I have never used a convection tray because I hadn't noticed you were using one, it still works fine. So far I haven't made a pork roast but now I think I definitely need to, looked so yummy...
Probably you could point out how you maintain the Q cleaning-wise in another video.
Nice bonus vid mate, good times. Can we see a little fireside cook up? cheers Moose.
Just pulling your leg.
Nice video
As always
I have a webber Q the same size as yours but when i bought mine 4 or 5 years ago i went to a shop called bbqs galore & they had one with a temperature gauge in the front of the hood, comes in handy !!
watching from the virgin islands.... love your content
Hey Ronnie, Love your vids and the cruiser, you should say Hello and then your name in the beginning of your videos. Keep up the great videos.
Yo man, great video. Dudes on here whinging about the time don't understand camping, ha ha. Looks like ya cooked some great feeds to me.
Fantastic video Ronny !
I was wondering could you do a review on Weber's latest BBQ ...... The Far Q.
Apparently, the purchase price is twice as much, it uses four times the amount of gas, and weighs two and a half tons !
Lol Cheers.
You just made my mouth water
Inspired now, will be giving this a go, never cooked a pork roast before... Not going near the chillies... Lol.... Thanks Ronnie
ronny mate, living the dream! keep up the content. love it!
u guys crack me up!!! looooool cheers
Considering the weber. Looks like a good way to cope with fire restrictions. If you want to see something that cooks lots of good food quickly checkout a Orion Cooker smoker/stock pot. It's a bit bulky but if you can light one it'll fix a meal for a whole group fast and no waiting to preheat.
great video Ronny! definitely stealing recipes, would love to see a cast iron camp oven episode too :)

When you ask them what they think, just ask them to rate it out of /10 the way your currently doing it isn't the best 👌🏻 keep up the videos dude love them 👍🏻
Good content bro
Nice vid guys, very informative - thanks for keeping it real!

great vid guys, we have a weber q200 , i find it makes the best pork crackle as well, i usually turn our roast around after about 40 mins to get it even, must invest in a pizza stone & some of those sturdier aluminum trays.
Where can I get the other trays please
@@Sunnyfield323 i just use the 6 dollar elcheapo jobs from coles, i think thier a 4 or 5 pack, cant go wrong.
Hay Ronnie.
When I'm cooking my roasts I don't use the convection tray. I use a aluminum tray big enough to fit the trivet (some cheaper brands I cut down to make fit). two reasons why, 1) I fill it with water to steam as well as cook moist meat & 2) no fat fires/easy clean
Note- only use enough water so that the trivet is just out of water & I top it up when I check the roast.
interesting mate, I'll give that a go.
Instead of a convection tray I use two sheets of alfoil on top of each other (of around equivalent size to the convection tray) with some slits through the foil to promote the convection effect of a weber. It works just the same as the convection trays and is a lot cheaper. Easy to peel off after cooking and throw away.
Roast lamb and veggies. Can't get more Aussie than that and my favourite.
I love Wayne's U-per hat.
Wind kills those things. Also need cleaning out quite regularly. Good for juicy steaks etc.
Hey man, I apologize if you've already covered this. How about a review on air compressors to see which is best for inflating tires after airing down. Thanks mate!
Hi from New York! I just bought a Weber Q 1200. I LOVED your vids. My question is about your pizzas... What size pizza stone are you using? And Can I please come camping? I promise to bring the beer! Cheers, Stacie
What’s the position on the heat control nob,,,I haven’t got a heat thermometer,,great vid ,,cheers
Would be good to try cooking one of those Inghams turkey rolls (from woolies) in that Q Ronny. Might make a nice change from red meat if your camping or on an expedition, variety is important. Can't help but thinking that other than a roast it'd be easier to just whip something up on a regular gas BBQ/cooker like a Coleman?
ronnie, the tray you are using is a convection tray not convention.
Like your video. What's with your mate's comment in regard to the crackling - "What's left of it!'? Did he think you ruined it or ate it all before serving it up? Either way, I reckon he shouldn't complain given you're doing the cooking. Have you tried rubbing sumac on your pork? It's good!
Would be interesting to see you blokes try a dessert in the Weber 1 camping trip
hey ronny you should do some sort of cooking segment in your trip videos
Best videos on youtube
What did you use for your pizza base? Mission wraps?
What cut of meat is that roast? Is it pork belly that's been rolled up? Also, no brines or any other seasonings?
You did not make the dough. What is that made of or is it pre-made? (on the pizza)
Is that a bubbler bong on the shelf at the beginning of the video?
Great video Ronny, how long does the 4Kg bottle last you with the Weber?
It takes 210g per hour on full speed.
hey Ronny... what is a convension tray?
I like that you use American terms.
You know ya burnt the shit out of that roast mate. But I don't even like crackling, it's all about what's inside 👌 cheers
more of this stuff
I've found my Q to be a tad low on the heat side and sometimes it will blow out in wind. I did add the flip-out side tables that kinda help sometimes. Going to look into the pizza plates from Weber. Assuming that those pizzas burned a bit going in, and coming out! ;-) Peace from Arizona!
How do you know how many minutes for everything. I need a cheat sheet
Salt nor fat are unhealthy. Sugar is!
Please don't spray the grill plates with oil - the truth is that most of the oil burns off before it can be of any benefit, and it can actually make the grates stickier if you're cooking at a temperature above the oils smoke point. Oiling your food is much more effective.
Ronny what model of Weber Q are you using? I am wanting to buy one similar to yours, I like the size. There are too many choices! Love the videos by the way. Once I have got my rig up and running I am planning to donate some money your way.
I'm currently using the Q1000
What brand and model hat are you wearing? I'd love to order one
Only a couple of drinks, well you better get a couple more don't ya think eh?
Actually Ronny I require some char on the crackle for it to taste complete, I'd be more temped to cook on the open fire too. Cheers guys!
cast iron cooking coming in future mate ;) cheers for watching
try putting the cheese on under the other ingredients (but on top of tomato paste)
Hey Ronny :) Can I just confirm that yours is a "Baby-Q"? Cheers, Don :)
oh man, the cholesterol , my arteries are screaming but i'm just drooling all over the place :))))
just woke up and hungry. can't watch it any more :)))
Love your trips and cooking Rohny. On a lighter note dont scratch below waste while cooking for others :)

Of course people can't let it rest when it looks as delicious as this Ronny 7:00 ..what else would you expect?
Have you tried firefighting gloves? Those would probably work even better than welding gloves.
what smartwatch are you using?
the cheapest fitbit I could find, only got for tracking my sleeping which I only did for 3 months, now it's just a spot watch to me...
what can u bake on a.weber q
hey rohnny how you do your bacon and eggs on the weber q?
I use a fry pan with a removable handle
With the griddle sold by Webber.
Convension tray????
So if you are only cooking for yourself do you have to wash your hands?
Where's the greens, boys?
2hours for pork, I'm off to subway
You're one of *Thoooose* people eh?;)
MrDigger450 it’s about the journey not the destination 🤪
Subway!? Bleh
Top tucker
Is it better to stand behind the Q when cooking? Lol
I'd love to see you and the guys meet with Jo Clews and cook some bread.
I'm sure that could be done mate
😎🇸🇮🙂
1) Pork is full of oil - Do NOT rub olive oil on it - in fact, it makes the skin burn and stay soft. The top side of any pork roast should only have salt.
2) Use fine cooking salt - it has more surface area than large flakes and will dry the crackling more thoroughly adding to its crunchiness.
3) NEVER cover crackling in alfoil because it steams the crackling and makes it soft. Always leave it open to the air. If you cover it, use paper.
It is ok to remove the crackling and use alfoil on the meat to rest it and keep it warm. For the crackling use paper or nothing.
4) A gas bbq makes pork roast taste like gas and isn't very nice. You'd be better off with a coal weber or a cast iron camp oven.
Coming, as you do, from the world capital of potato and pork roast I really thought you'd have this subject under control - seems not.
I give this pork roast three out of ten. You burned it.
And before I get abused by your viewers, which is often the case, let me explain that I have 12 pork roast videos on my channel and I also get paid by guests to cook them pork roast. And my family own a piggery in DK. I'm not an expert but I have some idea.....
Nice pizza - Well done :-)
I clicked like although your pork roast was abysmal. You can improve by a country mile. I'm trying to help you.....
Remember - A mile is 10km. :-)
+Ade Larsen I shall try your method next time but in the camp oven instead skål
Your pizza's are 10 out of 10. Perfect :-)
Skål
Good to know. I just brought a weber q1200 so Im happy to learn the true median of my opinions relative to the bbq
God bless this channel
Peace!
Big mistake... watching this while hungry! 😊
So I cooked pork. You have to find the sweet spot. I probably shoulda cooked it slower like lowest heat. It cooked faster than I thought. Was almost dry but it didnt look like it
What hat are you wearing looks like a beauty?
i want some crackle!
Can I cock these recipes on another brand like a napoleon 285pro
CONVECTION!!!
Number 1 rule. Loose your heat, you loose your meat.
roughly how many hours does your gas bottle last ?
hard one to answer but a 2l bottle could do about 3-4 roasts including cooking other smaller stuff
Weber Qs are very gas efficient. You can get plenty of roast, bbq, bacon & eggs, etc. meals out of the same bottle. I have the mid size Q and rarely need to have the dial above half way to keep the heat up. I also have the thermometer in the hood meaning that it is easy to keep an eye on the temperature and adjust as necessary.
Not sure there’s any such word as ‘convension’.
What about some veges and a sauce?
What about them?
Camp rosewood? Building?
Rosewood due to the type of gumtrees in the area so the campsite + building is Camp Rosewood.
cook some fish :)
