Cracking experience for you both and great to watch for the viewers!. Road trip of a lifetime though, whilst the cost is big the experience cannot ever leave your mind!
Just had to ad Darren, your relevant yippee!,my daughter and boyfriend both 23,love your videos of all that I watch.they like your london foodie ones and the fact you show prices.told their friends you now have a few younger subscribers .xx
Darren you spent a few bob…. But those memories are priceless.. I really enjoyed watching the trip.. I’m not a biker but could fully appreciate your experience… At 52 years of age I’m starting to understand life is short and things can and often go tits up!!!. But those memories will stay with you forever
Cheers Darren , Another thumbs up, jees it was hot in July, it got to 38 degrees while we were there, but watched your incredible journey befoe we went !
Hiya Darren, enjoyed this vlog, I'm sure it give you great and not so good memories, so glad you back, looking forward to your next brilliant creative content, Lynette
The other thing about your journey was you shared every moment, an experience very few of would be able to do or see, and the calm way you explained everything, I admired it all. Thank you again for taking us with you. 😘💚
Hey Darren, loved the bike trip and it gave me something to look forward to watching when I got home from work. You guys were real troopers coping with the rain but I feel it was worth it for you. Keep on trucking my friend.Dr Paul.
Great vlog Darren. Some costs are more easily borne than others. For making lasting memories, €500 is well worth it. Was that literally just the fuel cost or the drinks and snacks too as they wouldnt be incurred if you hadnt had to have stopped.?
Aaaahhhh missed you DJ! Looked everyday for a new vid! Seriously! I did! It was a fab trip … and with troubles? Of course! Memorable! That’s what made it fab! We all understand you have a job and the time it takes to upload all ‘this’ … appreciate every moment that YOU take time out of YOUR life to talk to us! Never forget that DJ … every post is a bonus to your viewers … you owe us nothing and to see what life is up to for you is OUR bonus … really … x💜🤟
Hi Daz , wow can't believe how close i got to the fuel stops etc , in my head I thought about 10 stops at about 50 euros a time lol , all the best m8 Bazza ..
Wow thats not bad at all DJ and like you say your on your on own bike seeing lovely places and travelling to a lovely place too (tenerife is the best) p.s hope the healthy eating is doing ok 🤞🏻😉
Thought you had done a runner lol...glad to have you back...yes work has to come first...but one day mate...it was great to follow your road trip. How your diet doing, starting to make a difference xx
Good to see you back Darren. Love the video, interesting and memorable, a once in a lifetime trip or maybe not lol. Take care and post when you can, you have a job, dont push yourself so hard, be kind to yourself.
Good job, Darren. Good to know + adding all your other costs. Helps you appraise how best to travel there in the future - cost v convenience v ease of travel. Useful when advising others too. 😊
Evening Darren, it's been a while, but it's good to have you back ❤First a question? Your business trip to Belgium, being in construction, was it a trade do😮?And were the XXXXL Lego bricks on the roundabout the latest thing in building??😅 It was interesting to look back at Tenerife. The many highlights, some 👇 lights. But over all. What a journey 😊 And what we saw were friends having a blast. Something in common that made the down days bearable, the good days BETTER 😊 The cost good to know, give a heads up for next time. But for your memories, priceless. Watch with the next generation on your knee. And tell 'em about 😭 of joy.
my wife and i went to the isle of wight on my klr 600. b reg. was an amazing experience . before i met gina i was into custom bikes. lots of shows the local hells angels used to put on. miss my biking days. my most fave bike ever was my honda 400 4 super sport. i had it all stove enameled. the paint was original. we have some great trips on that bike. i still have my full bike license lol but have not ridden for over 20 years.
Hi Darren , as an ex biker i wasn’t far out on the cost of the fuel . it must of been a fantastic experience even though you suffered with the weather. you deserve a restful time on your next trip , hire the bike there. it’s all about making memories 👍❤️
Enjoyed the video sounds like such an adventure where you have learnt a lot whilst on the road. Apologies if you have perhaps done this previously but if your time permits maybe you could do a vlog for us in Belgium some time? I’ve only ever been to Bruge and it looks like such a cool place!
I watched every one and at the time it didn't come across as an enjoyable experience as everything seemed to go wrong. Looking back is always different as we just remember all the good bits. Still a good achievement though...
You should definitely do a really easy plane ride trip .. zero pain.. and maybe a healthy eating vibe.. walking exercise vibes so you dont spoil your diet 🤓
I know that not everything went to plan but you did such an amazing job. I honestly dont know how you got through it all but what an amazing trip with lifelong memories. As for the cost I didn't have a clue at what it would cost but that sounds fairly reasonable to me considering how much riding you had to do. This was extremely interesting. Thanks for taking us all along on the journey. It has been brilliant to watch. 💙👍🏼😁
I know where your coming from with your love for Tenerife Darren ,it's a fantastic place . My Dad and Mum love the place ,which rubbed off on me . Your road trip is somert you will never forget ,everybody needs to do a pilgrimage like that ,specially with a great place to aim for like Tenerife . Can I ask you Darren , was the journey back as enjoyable as the journey there ?😁😁👍👍
The fuel price doesn’t come into it’s the experience. It was a shame you had weather like the uk can’t get away from the rain at least. You enjoyed😂😂😂😂
When you said -see if you can guess how many euros - I had in mind about 600 to 650. I realise 500 is still a lot of money but what a trip it was ( apart from the horrendous ferry ). How's the healthy eating going ? x
My estimate was way off at 650 but thanks for sharing and hope you get another opportunity to do another road trip, but your trip blew that epic EV trip of a certain vlogger out of the water 😂
The aliens who kidnapped Darren have returned him to us and have promised to have nothing to do with humans in the future. Once again DJ saves the world👍 The aliens returned him to Belgium as a warning to the Belgians🙄
You actually did it. You didn't talk about it. You didn't wish you had the time. You and your friend got out there and lived that adventure. And you took us along as you went. So for actually living the adventure, that was a fine expenditure of 499 euros. I don't think I'll be buying any upcharges on any ferries anytime soon though. You had some really great times in places you loved to be, with people you loved to be with. Money well spent. Great video, Mr. John.
Some poor kid has lost their lego bricks on that roundabout. I blame the parents - they shouldn't be allowing them to throw their toys across a roadway...
Cracking experience for you both and great to watch for the viewers!. Road trip of a lifetime though, whilst the cost is big the experience cannot ever leave your mind!
GOOD to see you again DJ.😊😊😊😊😊
Welcome back

Once in a lifetime experience & thanks DJ 😊🏍️
Hope your trip went well.🥰🌞🥰 Xxx
What slap dash like the Macmaster going to Sainsburys for a bacon roll lol, ideas running low.
Regency cafe was worth the wait definitely a 10 from me 👍
Was hoping you would break down the food stop costs, hotels and ferry prices there and back. Just being nosey lol .Great vlog cheers DJ.
I did - check out the video prior to us leaving 👊🏼👍🏼
great content as usual !
I've done my fair share of riding and driving. Always less miles a day. Stops it being a chore.
When you said -see if you can guess how many euros - I had in mind about 600 to 650. I realise 500 is still a lot of money but what a trip it was ( apart from the horrendous ferry ). How's the healthy eating going ? x
Healthy eating is great - minus a week in Tenerife
DJ your shift comes first pal. Miss your cooking program but your work comes first.
My estimate was way off at 650 but thanks for sharing and hope you get another opportunity to do another road trip, but your trip blew that epic EV trip of a certain vlogger out of the water 😂
Hi Darren, have you got over the Fanta and pizza on the ferry
You were in the country that we live in. Genevieve Antwerp
Ah yes, we didnt even get chance to visit Antwerp, so busy
The aliens who kidnapped Darren have returned him to us and have promised to have nothing to do with humans in the future. Once again DJ saves the world👍 The aliens returned him to Belgium as a warning to the Belgians🙄
Wow 500 on fuel.
I really thought it would have cost more Darren, said about €700 but hey 👊👍
Maybe on other bikes
Odd to think that 99% of us Brits experience of Alicante will be the airport en-route to Benidorm lol
Would be great if you could do this full time one day and earn money from it like MacMaster 👍
Hello Darren
👋👋
Cheap as chips used to be ,and worth every penny 🍀👍🙏
I'm not biker but I'm happy to hear you had a fanastic time 😊
Such an achievement Darren, despite the ups and down's I bet it was worth every penny.
Amazing trip
Hiya Darren John siobhain
Emotional take care xxx❤

Nice one Phil
Good man Darren
What is your job Darren? Thanks for the video x
I work in the construction industry
How did you get through the vlog without guzzling some apple cider vinegar 😂😂😂
Not sure wether you we're miffed or not,you showed the price but didn't really explain. Like how much did you expect to pay??
You are a legend, that road trip was epic.
Good to see you. Personally I don't think £450 is bad considering the distance. 😍🅰️
cracking MPG. imagine driving a car there n back. the fuel coat alone would pay for flights n a nice hotel 😂
Hi Darren guessing 900e worth of petrol
It was an experience Darren💗
Amazing experience
Some poor kid has lost their lego bricks on that roundabout. I blame the parents - they shouldn't be allowing them to throw their toys across a roadway...
Is it going around in your mind when and where the next one will be??
Always thinking of the next idea
What is your job
120 💶 Euros.
My gues is 4k in fuel and food stops
U not friends with lee the macmaster anymore mate
Cheaper to jump on Easyjet, £125 return at the mo???
Indeed
