Stasis still better for onslaught. Stasis gives you passive grenade regen while with devour you have to get kills to get your grenade back. Also, the duskfield grenade have a way lower CD than coldsnap, thus you can spam way more torrets without even getting kills. I did a few expert runs, and stasis is way better when you have tanky enemies that wont die easily to proc devour.
I've tried both, stasis is better. You just need to destroy the crystals to keep the regent going, is harder content getting kills to keep devour going becomes harder
I would love for them to add the new perk from this season, Rimestealer, to Wicked Implement. Between it freezing enemies on its own, and Headstone from the catalyst, it would fit so well. And considering the weapon is supposed to be an example of the Sword Logic, it would even fit the lore and flavor of the gun
While WI is a good choice, ultimately I hate how I feel it takes forever for the gun to actually shoot and kill a target, even while frozen. I prefer my frozen targets dead after they’re stasis debuffed- that’s why I opted for Verglass Curve. Still relies on crystal shattering, breaks crystals quickly and adds to them, and can wall off choke points to keep enemies from entering in a zone
Perhaps this would be better with Buired Bloodline and Bold Endings with enhanced demo/headstone, just to get that devour-like grenade regen youd get on prismatic but on Stasis
The prismatic version with Feed the Void, the correct fragments, and a better super makes this infinitely better than the pure stasis version with higher ability uptime, more DPS, and more versatility.

@@JarJarBricks01actually no, you get more grenade regen on stasis with shattering crystals and frozen enemies then you do with devour. And it doesn’t require ability kills either.
@@hatchell18Yes, that’s what I was alluding to. Torment, Durance, and Shards is a combo that Prismatic simply can’t keep up with.
Just use Ager trace rifle to overcharge the weapon on stasis subclass then heavy GL with bait and switch.
Domain expansion RUSSIAN WINTER!
There has been no class in all of gaming that's spoken to me more than Stasis Warlock. It just hits right, and there's nothing else like it.
Edit: The new Stasis Rocket Sidearm can get Loose Change and Chill Clip... it's going to be beyond nuts for Stasis builds, when IB comes around, *grab it.* An argument could be made for Impulse Amplifier or Reverberation or Enlightened Action, but honestly I feel like Loose Change is the clear PvE winner in that slot since Stasis lives and dies by freeze or slow debuffs.
Fix stasis:
Give an artifact instead….
Just a shame the warlock stasis super sucks
