To anybody here who might be confused as to what everybody here is talking about, there's a rock band from Ann Arbor, Michigan, called Tally Hall. The boy in the bed at 32:20, grew up to become one of the lead singers of Tally Hall. And yes, I'm here because I'm a (proud) Tally Hall fan.
6:00-6:10 Doreen's coworkers said it was totally out if character for her to have an affair. She wouldn't tolerate an affair. But she thought of running away with her boyfriend at the beginning of her marriage. Obviously, no one really knows this woman.
On the third case at 20:35 the neighbor witnessing the unusual activity still says "my intuition was telling me there was something wrong." But evidently did not do anything about it. So much for good neighbors.
🙄 What should she have done? She saw a couple of people standing on her neighbor's porch. Should she have called the cops? Tell them what? That her "intuition" said something was wrong? Ridiculous. And don't come back whining that they would have at least sent someone out because they wouldn't have.
@@michelleprieur1 yes she should have called the police and whine up her intuition strongly. Don't the Karens whine for nonsense and cops give them plenty of credibility? Unless the neighbor's intuitive gif is simply bluffing.
@@ingridakerblom7577 my neighbors and I would be appreciative rather than fell embarrassed. Checking un usual activity can be don without causing a fuss. I hope I understood your writing.
@@joselbazcom4221 yes I know people want that. But I'm just telling you what's often heard when you ask why no one cared to call for police. I rather call in vain, than not calling & something has happened.
The cops said they made a startling discovery. Steven voluntarily admitted the he hired private investigators to follow Doreen. But that makes sense if his wife having a nervous breakdown and quit her job abruptly. There was something very, very wrong with Doreen. He made the right choice.
I noticed that there are several cases from Robert Stack's tenure with Unsolved Mysteries. Pretty sure some of the reenactments were used from those too! There was RCMP cop cars from Canada that were from the 80's. Square box crown vics with the big old lights on top. They had to have re used old footage for those cases...
fun fact: the boy in the bed at 32:20 is a lead singer for a rock band, tally hall, known for being the lead singer and singing hidden in the sand and the bidding(or the "sleeping in the cardboard box song")
As close as we are going to get for Doreen's case. On July 30, 1999, Stephen shot and killed his thirty-eight-year-old ex-girlfriend, Laura Vincent, and seriously wounded her new boyfriend, Salvatore Puleo. He then drove to the secluded Barkhamsted Reservoir in Connecticut and committed suicide when a state trooper approached him. His suicide note mentioned that he was alive "nine years too long" and that he had "felt guilty" for Doreen's disappearance, but he did not claim direct responsibility.
It's very common for women that age to evaluate their lives. She may have cried because she didn't want to be with her husband, or because she needed another change. But generally women don't disappear. They may walk out on a spouse but don't stop communicating with everyone in their lives. Sadly she's dead and it seems obvious what happened.
We did it bois, we found funny curly haired insane red tie man
I love how whatever this video is just summoned the Tally Hall fandom.

Hello Tally Hall fans
Doreen abruptly quitting her job was unusual to her friends and family.
She said she needed a change.
So, it's not so far fetched that she took off.

She was crying, stressed, not sleeping.
That too, according to people she knew, was out of character for Doreen.
Nobody deserves to be murdered.
Except for the person who made that sound effect that plays on EVERY damn subtitle/name

I didn't know that there were two unsolved mysteries that took place in my home state of Missouri.

Love that the polio specialist said nothing could be done - doesn't seem much of a specialist ! Bet he made a lot of money doing nothing !

What kind of work did Doreen do?
Maybe she uncovered something that she wasn't supposed to.
she worked for a drug dealing biker gang that was also a satanic cult.
We got damn Joe hawley on the unsolved mysteries 💯💯
If he killed his gf, wounded a guy AND killed himself, maybe he killed Doreen too.
