I feel like the lack of phone holder, Bluetooth from your phone, and quick speed buttons/dials is a HUGE missed opportunity. Reaching out for the touch screen and scrolling vs hitting a simple button or dial isn't desirable - especially if you're doing speed work and need to come down from top speed quickly. This is a great review, though. Very thorough. I've been going thru all your videos and used your input to finally purchase a Horizon. It should be delivered this week. Thanks for doing these!! And for being so honest in all of the reviews!
Without iFIT, you can only train in manual/quickstart mode. With a free iFIT account and WiFi, you can access a few onboard workouts, including a few featured iFIT classes.
The main difference between the two is the screen size, and the 2450 goes up to 14 mph instead of 12 mph. It depends on if those two features are really important to you.
Are they finally garage gym friendly or are their warranties still a little wonkey in that department? Miss having a treadmill and miss using my old Norditrack X9i until they voided my warranty the minute I had it in my garage gym. Mind you, it was a climate controlled and purpose made home gym.
I'm surprised that it was voided if the gym was climate controlled, but in general, any cardio machine with a touchscreen and other tech features is not covered when used in a garage gym. It's really unfortunate.
Have they strengthened the running deck mine is just over 2 years old and have gone through 3 running decks and 1 motor I would not recommend anyone buy this product
@Gator424 you're crying about the same thing on every section. But still wondering about the deck even though you'd never buy one again given your "bad luck."
I just ordered one and SUCKS to find out streaming is locked within ifit
Appreciate that knowledge
Yeah, deal breaker in my opinion. I have $2000 burning a hole in my pocket. It sounds like the Sole f85 is going to take it.
This is an awesome review!! Subbed
Thanks for taking the time to review

@@kelleydrn3965 Awesome, great choice!
any idea what the step up height is on max incline in the middle? I have a low ceiling
You mentioned sole or horizon for a none IFit version. Is there a model comparison to the 1750?
The Sole F85 and Horizon 7.8 are comparable in terms of performance.
So what exactly can you do without ifit?

Is the 2450 worth the extra money?
