Hi, I would totally be down for this! I’m very active on the Gotham discord so if you join you can reach out to me from there! I’m happy to answer any questions you have :)
I literally watch your channel instead of TV now. I've completely fallen in love with chess again thanks to your analyses. By the way-do you know anything about shogi, Japanese chess? Would be really interested to see how a high-rated chess player takes to shogi, especially if they've never played it before. The game has a few more pieces than chess, and when you capture your opponent's pieces you can put them back on the board and use them yourself, so the game gets more crowded and complicated as it progresses. (Video idea suggestion.)
I sometimes read that people think of Levy being cocky or arrogant, but he's not. He is just provoking the viewer to play better chess. He's not trying to make the viewer feel good about their chess, but trying for them to become a better player. Levy is an excellent chess teacher.

@GothamChess Dude, huge oversight (of both sides) in the end game of game 1! The black pawn marching towards promotion on the g file ACTUALLY could not be moved on to g3 (as happened in the game), as white's bishop on f2 could simply have taken it off the board! Black's knight in that case didn't have the chance to take back and snatch up the bishop as then that knight would not be 'back' in time to stop white's pawn that also is moving towards promotion on the h file!

Even though 1600 is not very high, I want to thank you for everything because your content is so much more than just chess :)
1600 is a very high rating. I’m a 1700 but I’d say that anything over 1000 at this point is intermediate and 1500 is where you get from good to great. Of course we’re nothing like the 2000 rated experts but 1600 is nothing to sneeze at.

Couldn't White just take the g pawn at 15:57 in the first game? It's still very much winning, but g3 is just a blunder of a pawn after Bxg3 since you can't take the Bishop or the h pawn promotes
I really don't know why, but I love watching chess. I can watch a stream of some fps game and turn it off 30 minutes in, but I always try to watch all these 2 hour long videos. I don't know why, but it's so entertaining watching pictures move on a board 5 times a minute rather than a 60 frame per second game.
It’s really interesting to note that white actually has one final trick available in the first game - taking the protected pawn on g3! It can’t be captured because the h pawn will queen, and Black actually has to play very precisely to keep advantage (Stockfish gives …Ke6 as the only move for white to be better after Bxg3)
