- Zeus presents B.C. II - Grog's Revenge (un-emulated) for the C64, a true classic from the golden era of C64 gaming which must not be forgotten alongside the software house and all programmers that were involved in making this game.
Year of release: 1984
So here we have the sequel to Quest For Tires, but this time round your quest is for the Meaning Of Life which can be found at the top of Mountain "E".
To get there you must collect at least 100 clams using your unicycle to run over them on each Mountain as you must pay the Toll charge at the top before you progress to the next Mountain, only at the top of Mountain "E" you will find the meaning of life (shown in this upload), but beware, you also have an unwelcomed guest named Grog who when get's near you a terrible siren can be heard, if you land on the same screen as him It's instant death and game over!
It's quite a fun little game but certainly not as colouful as It's prequel, in fact it looks a little dull and empty,...but It's fun to play for a few times.
There are 3 difficulty settings, they all have the same ending.
I have used the invincibility pokes so I could upload the game in full for your viewing pleasure.
I hope you enjoy this upload.
A huge thanks goes out to "Kamilz" for producing me the invincy pokes I needed to get me through the game, cheers buddy!
Please note: NONE of my game uploads are emulated in any way whatsoever, they are 100% original recordings by myself taken directly from the original hardware the game was intended for, that way you know you're watching the real thing.
I will also always state weather i am using any cheats in the game, if not mentioned then i am not using any.

Keeping the memory of the C64 and it's cool games alive!!! Игры
I finished this game back in the mid ‘80s, but I kept thinking I had lost. I never figured out what I needed to do to “win.” LOL!
Wow, this brings back memories. 100% it was absolutely terrifying as a child to fear the suspense of this game as you ran into Grog! That warning music would pound my heart every Grog encounter.
Yeah that bloody Grog, horrible noise when he was getting close.
Me too 😂
One of the most anitclimatic (albeit funny) game endings ever. Even when you win you lose....the programmer was a troll before trolling existed, LOL
Yeah what a joker card from the programmer! >:-(
This franchise was a really cool release for the C64 and Atari at the time. Was always loaded up on the display C64 in Boots during the school lunch hour.
srsly all i wanted is to see my old nemesis , grog. ...
I hope you enjoy my channel enough to

A blast from the past
Really impressive for a 1984 game.
The ending was.... let's just say not what I expected.
Now you know the real meaning of life! ;-)
Hehheh good one mate!, this reminded me that an English man once said "There is an instant way to reach nirvana. That is marijuana". Of course he was joking.
Wish he wasn't lol, I prefer Tremadol pills ;-)
Commodore games weren’t known for having good endings lol. Hell it seemed half that I had didn’t even end. As an adult I watched a YT video so I could finally see GI Joes ending. I learned it was a sandbox game.
Which is just a fancy way of saying it didn’t have an ending. As a 9 year old me and my friends played that game endlessly determined to beat it. All that effort was wasted lol
Trying to remember one title... Do you know any game that has precisely 42 levels?
wtf??? at 9:42 Grog moved down the mountain. I always thought he could not do that until he collected 50 clams?
What happens when the white diamond thing (is it Ghost Grog?) catches you?
GAME OVER! Yes it's Grog.
The music when you are on the same level as Grog still scares me to this day!
Question! How can Grog follow you across the bridges when he never has enough clams for the toll...???
Because he's a big scary bully.
never could figure out how to play.
Collect 100 clams and get to the top of the mountain.
I always felt a love hate relationship with this game. on one hand it had the charm of cave man ugh lympics, on the other hand it lacked gameplay. if i need to plus or minus I feel a bit more like minus.
It seemed a dull sequel to me, maybe It's because of the grey colours whereas the sequel was far more colourful.
