Yo I love how y'all are so excited about hockey.
I know everything about hockey, basketball and soccer. If you guys want me to engage with y'all in terms of like introducing you to hockey or soccer I gotchu. Also dangles is like getting cooked, like when you dangle somebody you're cooking them. But most dangles in hockey are like crosses, like getting crossed over and back is very common.
There's a ton and I mean a TON of similarities between hockey, basketball and football. Not necessarily in terms of the sports rules, but the culture, the attitude of the players, the trash talk, the hits, celebrations, number of teams and games.

Hi Ki Different, you were saying you never saw a black man play hockey, although they don't make up a large percentage there have been several players who are black. The first was Willie O'Ree. He played in 1958 and is considered hockey's equivalent to Jackie Robinson. In 2018 he was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. There have been several black players who were standout players, Grant Fuhr goalie for the Edmonton Oilers who helped them win a few Stanley Cups he also played for my team the Maple Leafs, Jarome Iginla who played mostly for the Calgary Flames and was the Art Ross Trophy winner at least once, that is for most points during a regular season. There are more but these were the ones I could think of off the top of my head.

So, at 7:20 when you saw Datsyuk dangling Logan Couture (of San Jose Sharks) - it was actually on his birthday. He clipped that vid and sent it to him on Twitter and said "how you gonna do me like that on my birthday?" lol. As a San Jose fan, I absolutely hated playing the Red Wings. Especially during their franchise years.
Also at 8:20 Crosby was shadowed by his rival who he's crazy competitive with, Nate Mackinnon so the shoulder shrug deke was great to catch him off guard. Mackinnon is regarded is one of the best skaters in the NHL but getting schooled by the wiley veteran is great.
My fav dangle of all time has to be the Bobby Ryan one where you guys complained he lost his stick lol.

When you see players throw themselves on the ice they aren't just laying down but trying to either block the Puck which they are expecting or trying to get in another players way. You'll see it in a lot of games and is actually an extremely important thing to do and helps out your goalie if you are able to block the shot and get it to a teammate. Hurts like hell because those shot are normally moving at like 80km per hour Upwards of like 100km per hour. 😂
You asked why they got so low. Well the lower they get the more of their stick will be on the ice which can block a Puck sliding on the ice even if it's not on the ice the player has a decent shot of then hitting the Puck away. Because hockey has its baseball moments.
Loved your reaction though and I'd recommend checking out best saves. Then your minds will be blown

9:04 the blue line marks a team's offensive zone and the puck carrier (#21 Peter Forsberg in this case) must be the FIRST player to cross it _(if a teammate receives a pass in the O-zone before the puck carrier crosses the blue line, that is offsides)_
If the puck exits the O-zone by any means, the puck carrier and his teammates must return to the neutral zone at center ice to "reset" and try to get back into the O-zone
