Thank you Jimmy for the encouragement. I first watched your video before I could make it to UK, and now I'm in UK and I can relate to what you're talking about. 😢
I completely understand the feeling. I faced similar experience getting into teaching. Though I later came across more patient people who were really happy to put a newbie through, in the beginning, I almost left because people were behaving as if they were forced to mentor and then turn around to shout and blame you for the slightest things. Kudos for sticking it out. I am also very empathetic towards new comers because I understand it can be a lot to take in when everything is new.
@Ann There is orientation given even in the UK. Just that sometimes the person giving you the orientation may not do a good job😊,they mostly do good orientation😊.
I also encountered a very toxic co-workers not just in the ward, brother they are from hell, their heart is full of hatred... i suggest try your best to endure these toxic people, you are there for salary. Let God take care of those bad co-workers.
Thanks Jimmy for educating us.Am a ugandan nurse with a diploma in nursing and I have a plan to migrate to UK as a nurse and persue my bachelor's of nursing from there later. But I don't know how possible is it? Thanks so much.please reply i badly need knowledge about migrating as a nurse.thanks
I can relate to u bro …. I felt the same on my first day here in uk and i am a emotional person so cried alot alone.😢😢😢 but now i am brave enough to do things alone
Shouting is a cultural flaw here in the UK. They see nothing wrong with having brawls at home at work on the street anywhere. Its something that new migrant workers should be familiarized with before they start working in UK, Gossiping,at the coffee machine at the pub about co workers, tearing co workers down, shouting and belitling co workers makes for very toxic work places in UK. Thats why many prefer to work from home and refuse to go back to the office.
Hi Jimmy. Congratulations on your new job in the U.K. I know that you didnt use a recruitment agency in Kenya but can you recommend one for me that specialises in healthcare recruitment. I am originally from the UK but have been working in the Gulf for many years and a Kenya colleague od mine who is Kenyan asked me if i could help them. I would appreciate if you could recommend one for me if you can. Thanks in advance.
I'm very sad about this -sorry How can we have a better nursing world? Does anybody take this feedback to rectify it? Why do nurses hurt each other yet they are supposed to be loving and tender to all?
Thanks for watching ❤

Hi Jimmy ,about the UK process does one need to go to his or her training instituton for documents verification or its just NCK ?
@Sharon just NCK and your college/University certificate
I'm very sad about this -sorry
How can we have a better nursing world?
Does anybody take this feedback to rectify it?
Why do nurses hurt each other yet they are supposed to be loving and tender to all?
@Maggy most people are good. There are just a few here and there who spoil for the rest.
Did you get training with preceptor before start?
No
A general induction by the educators
They always feel somehow 😮 to teach or show us something, its exhausting
Seems like..
Hello..Jimmy can i work in uk as a nurse with my Certificate in enrolled community health nurse from kmtc.Whats the procedure. Please advice
@Thee a certificate in Nursing is not enough. I know someone who tried it. You can however apply for healthcare assistant position.
@@jimmyomaset What about when I do the upgrading to diploma then I apply for a work.then with time I can apply for a degree
@Thee you can do that😊
