Two mistakes on question #20! 1. The picture you are seeing on the video is not any of the listed answers. "Sword of Sargeras " is the weapon that the titan Sargeras used to impale Azeroth, gravely injuring its world-soul. 2. SPOILER for the answer (scroll down). The correct answer to this question is Gorribal. Gorshalach was the original sword Sargeras wielded when he was a part of the Pantheon and had not fallen to madness yet. But since we quoted "Dark Titan" he has turned evil. When he fell to madness Gorshalach shattered into two pieces. Gorribal and Taeshalach. Taeshalach is of course wielded by Aggrammar while Gorribal was wielded by the Dark Titan himself. The answer nor picture is correct on the last questions, we apologize for the inconvenience :p. Note that it is said that the Sword of Sargeras and Gorribal are not the same! The two swords have never been mentioned in lore to be the same nor do they look the same.
gorribal and gorshalach are never mentioned in any canon lore, they both come from the now non-canon tabletop Warcraft RPG; though taeshalach (aggramar's sword) is named the same ingame and in the RPG (and the lore behind the two swords is different now, as chronicle volume 1 says their two swords were always separate and were both shattered when they dueled after sargeras betrayed the pantheon rather than sundering itself when he fell to madness)
The statue in front of Stormwind is dedicated to Danath Trollbane. The statues were built to commemorate the heroes of the Second War who were left behind in Draenor when the Dark Portal was destroyed. A Trollbane's a Trollbane, yeah. But Thoras was the one who wrote the inscription, not the one depicted in the statue. :) Great quiz, it was a lot of fun, and you put a lot of effort into it!
it's too bad asmongold did the stream live instead of researching it but i don't watch his streams. probably is doing w/e and professor McGonagall told him to do the quiz
this was actually a very nice and pretty educational quiz, great work! i loved the questions, the visuals and all the info you put after every answer ^^
There is a mistake on the sylvanas question because sylvanas had 4 siblings 2 sister's and 2 brother's both of the brother's died younger at the hand of orc's and the older while scourge attacked the high elves.
I think the Gorshalach answer should be Gorribal, if you're asking specifically for the *Dark* Titan Sargeras. When he was pure it was Gorshalach, but to finish the paragraph you quote in the answer: "...sundered itself into two 'Shatterbound pieces' to prevent the fallen Titan from wielding it. One fragment was claimed by Sargeras and reforged into Gorribal, while the other was claimed by Aggramar and reforged into Taeshalach." The lore is honestly kinda sketchy on this, but Aggramar does wield Taeschalach, and if the splitting is true then the Dark Titan must have/had Gorribal.
Yeah we did realize a few days after the upload that we had some mistakes on question 20, but we did not wanna reupload the video. But thanks for the good explanation on the swords! :)
ask deeper questions not just general knowledge next time :) also a lot of the questions were simple answers from the Chronicle like the one about Grond maybe next time do them more invented or something idk maybe you can ask why was the big tree in grizzly hills cut down dats a good question for next time :))
These aren't all surface level questions. There are about 3-4 I'd say are 'Easy', but that's only because you are spoon fed them if you played the WC3 storyline.
@@MrTup9991 Well since the Chronicle was the complete history of Warcraft I'd hope the answers were in there. That's like saying all the sand is on the ground.
@@woundedwolf8515 i fully disagree the chronicle is like a over simplified resume of the entire history of warcraft its missing a lot of information about characters for example or for things that happened in speific zones. You can read the thrall wikipedia and u ll know 5x more about the character than what you learn via chronicle

11:20 that was an amazing sync :P
EDIT 2: The lore part for question #19 is mistakenly written about his nephew and not the actual answer, sorry about that mon.
I actually hardly know like half of these, and mostly here for learning interesting lore facts, lol. I liked it though.
Wow I’ve read a lot of lore and still only got 11 out of 20. Impressive quiz!
Very good quality love this
There is a mistake on the sylvanas question because sylvanas had 4 siblings 2 sister's and 2 brother's both of the brother's died younger at the hand of orc's and the older while scourge attacked the high elves.
You could even argue the answer is wrong because of how it's worded, she currently has 2 sisters. She HAD a brother (or two) but they're gone now.
