    • Description:
I launched Otto DIY on Kickstarter a couple of years ago (kck.st/2qFTxxc). After a successful campaign the project took a life of its own over at ottodiy.com. In this video, I show you how to assemble, program, and calibrate your very own Otto. Once programmed, this bi-pedal robot can walk, dance, sing, avoid obstacles, and more! The body is 3d-printed and the code is written in C++/Arduino. It's a simple project that would be great, for example, used as a teaching tool for robotics at a middle- or high-school level.

Don't the servos need to be pre-set to a particular position before assembly?
