Hi, I'm Steve, nonda's lead mechanic engineer. Feel free to leave your comments here if you have any mechanic questions, I will be glad to help you out!
I'm getting P0402 and I replaced the EGR myself and the code immediately comes back. I didn't cheap out on the part either cus it originally costed me $140. I was experience intense clicking from the Cat when the code rose up so I am wondering if it's possible a bad cat can trigger a false EGR code, since they are technically connected on the same system.
Hello Steve. I had my car remapped and shortly after, it threw this code as well as P1160 which is 'Heated exhaust gas oxygen bank 2 heater. Any chance you know what I can do to fix it. Thanks !
I have had a p0402 code on my car egr was replaced aswell as 3 injectors then I got the message again (service due soon) put the code reader on and got that code any ideas on what to do

@@cameronartukovich6810 I had that problem was a missfire 3 injectors needed replacing
@@Matthewjhunter1 dudeee same here, I replaced my EGR valve and still had this code. So you replaced your fuel injectors and it fixed the code??
Well with simple logic both are separate issues and probably will happen simultaneously so one should do both...
