An excellent video. I am not remarkable. I am insignificant. I've had to come to realise that. I will not be renowned. I don't want to be renowned. I don't need to be remembered I guess. No one in the future is going to know I existed. So I just exist for now I suppose!

This all sounds good but how can I stop worrying? I’m 54 now, if I live to 80, I need money to survive. Or not? Up until now, I haven’t got any help from anyone besides getting few job recommendations from previous bosses. I have helped so many people but I don’t have anyone who can help me financially or even emotionally if I ever need help.
I am purposely and wonderfully made by a God and creator. My purpose is to give him glory to praise his name in everything I do. My life is insignificant in the grand cosmos I am only one in the billions of humans. I will only live for a short time, and when I die in a few years everyone on earth will forget about me.
But that’s okay, I know I’ll go to heaven when I die because Jesus paid for my sins and I accepted him as my savior. In heaven I’ll be with Gods love and light for eternity. I’ll be able to explore and build a new world with infinity of possibilities! Life on this earth is only a flash, but my eternal life is what matters.

Isn't that a fallacy though? Not having significance or importance TO the universe doesnt mean that the universe (and the forces impinging upon my welfare) doesn't have significance TO ME.
My chronic pain, unemployment, hunger, frustration, anxiety aren't made any better by me not having significance to the universe. If anything, they are made worse by that fact.
So, I don't buy this ;-)

@@q.q3952 I understand what you expressed and I agree with your sentiments. Suffering in conjunction with insignificance is a relative experience which varies individual to individual. But every individual does experience it to their relative extent of being significant. However the only constant in this all is the insignificance which is either occurring or going to occur.
He is referring to objective significance not subjective, the universe as a whole is indifferent to human existence wether you have personal subjective significance or not. You create meaning and purpose for yourself but that does not change the meaningless nature of sentient existence. The reason why we seek meaning and significance in this cold mechanical universe is beacuase of our over-developed over-burdened frontal cortex which has overshot its evolutionary development by a wide margin and thus rendering humans incapable of living via instinct alone like animals but always striving for some imagined purpose and meaning.
