One of the individuals you interviewed is my son. I pray daily that he gets clean. I miss him so much. And for anyone who wants to jump on my comment and shame me or think they could have done better - you don't know what resources have been exhausted to get him the help he needs. And for those of you who laugh at these people - they are someone's child. It doesn't hurt to be kind.
8/6/2022 - for all of you who have offered prayers and support and kind words. My son has been clean since April, and is working hard every day on his sobriety. He is off the streets and living with family until safe, long-term housing can be found. Thank you all so much!
05/12/2023 - Gary is still sober and living with family. I just wanted to give a quick update.
01/24/2024 - Gary is back living on the streets and using drugs. We have no idea where he is. We've come to the realization that any intervention or helping hand we can offer is only a temporary solution unless he's willing to do the hard work necessary to get sober. Thank you for your kind words and prayers. It helps to know we are not alone.

At first then comes the bad people. A judge told me that once in drug court. And low and behold it was true. I'm clean now and doing so much better.

Fuck no getting clean cold turkey is like a 2 week exorcism of throwing up shiting yourself on the floor as your bones break and you die of dehydration from sweating delirious from fever if you haven't been there or seen it you should really at least understand we can't just stop for a couple days and take on the world it was a month before I was even fit to take care of myself you can get Clean but you need to treat it like a literal war your fighting for your life

Thats one poor as re up lol. Reup used to mean a whole areas supply for at least a day. But just a dub ha idk maybe he's a conservative and lasts a while on such meager means. Usually it wud be a whole days hustle for cash and then investing with another associate for a more sizable stock lol. Enough to get high as fuk and then sum on the first hit, no use in redosing ones self over and over just to maintain the feels.

I feel for addicts because I was one. It got especially bad after my mother died of an OD, I started drinking until I blacked out daily for many years and when I was drunk I'd do all kinds of other drugs just because I hated being alive. Been sober for a little over a year now and the only thing I miss are opiates because they were so awesome but it's not worth fucking your life up with it. Once you start doing anything heavily, you need it to feel normal and it doesn't really provide any benefits besides you not feeling sick.
@Art of War Arm Wrestling I can't smoke the new weed that is legal where I live. Too strong and causes too much anxiety My solution if I want to do any substances is to take a little kratom. Better than drinking or popping pills IMO..
Stay clean start a hobby I suggest sailing. Old boats are cheap enough 😉

My God is this depressing when I work at a hospital here in San Diego about 75% of the nurses were on meth I guess it helps you make it through that double shift

Patrick, this guy definitely has something coming. God don't like ugly. My heart goes out to the people who he was "interviewing." Seems more like he was degrading than and kickin' a person when they were down. It's very hard to come out of addiction even if you want to. I saw that Gary was 100 days sober in the comments good job! I pray for all of them that God will comfort them and help their circumstances to be able to get some real help. We can do all things thru Jesus Christ, who strengthens us. I also pray for the guy doing this. That God humbles him so he can see how he is treating these people is wrong.
So taking them to a detox/rehab if they’re willing to go is degrading and kicking them when they’re down?

This year I will be clean for 15 years from doing meth. I did it for 12 1/2 years. BOY!!! am I glad they didn't have cameras such at the ready when I was a tweaker

Dogs don't care if you have a stereotypical house or not they just love the owner. Maybe her dog ran away and almost got hit by a truck, it can happen to anyone. Im not saying the dog doesn't deserve better, we all do.
Just cuz his/her owner is a dug addict doesn't mean the dog's not living well. Not everybody on drugs treats their dogs poorly. You don't know?!
@@Partnerthedog I don’t think this person was trying to say that being homeless makes you a bad pet owner, it’s just that this dog has injuries that need to be treated by a vet. That’s what so sad about it, the dog could be running around way happier if her legs were fixed.

your episodes are getting really good I like how you've been changing the direction of your show towards rehab I know you're show has always supported the choice towards your interviewers although this time recently its been more emphasis on rehabilitation in a couple episodes your show is very educational for the young viewers and I think you have a great calling to help these people I also think community bridges doesn't really help these addicts it's a vicious loop but if you want to look into other facilities for further research maybe they can find rescorses to accomadate new knowledge also there are certain hallucinogen therapies for addictions as an alternative and further studies have found 60% reduction In relapse but is not a legal practice in most places. I think the cause is more closer to their pain than the symptom when it comes to addiction aka trauma possibly over half of them

Yo the way u present this is honestly respectable….im surprised. Its a sad thing, my lil brother Reid died from tweak, the first guys movements reminded me of him, we use say to say he was ‘kung fu fighting’…its unfortunate
It used to be really fucked up. He’s taking a different approach now it looks like. He used to kind of just flame them and be on his way but now he’s offering help and actually looking into the individual if possible.
I really hope hard hat guy gets there. He said a lot of things o could relate to. His story was b.s but feeling alone thing is extremely relatable. Hopefully he wants better before it's too late.
Got 8 years clean off bangin heroin & smokin crack. It's a tough fkn road.. and unfortunately alot of ppl just don't understand. Us addicts don't wake up one day & say "i think I'm gunna ruin my life, lose my family/kids, & slowly kill myself" .. and once you're there, you're there & the damage is done. Not everyone lives to talk about it. There really needs to be less judgement being passed & more help & love being given... ♡♡♡

Everybody's broken in some way. Some just a little, some are a total wreck. It's heart wrenching to see these people "living" like this. Seeing this, reinforces my decision to get Clean & sober 37 years ago. Like the old saying says, "To get sober, you gotta wanna".

I think its important to bring attention to what others don't want to see... hes offering them help. Maybe it could be more, but if he can save 1 life out of 100 people then I support it. And I have 9 years clean. I would have done it and taken the help if someone ever did this before the last 10 years. Overdose deaths are surpassing car accident deaths in the US. Something needs to be done. But if you have a better idea id love to hear it and see it planned out at all. Sending love and healing. Hopefully you'll see it a bit differently. Someone else is gonna just tik tok ppl and not even help them....

It’s a fine line walking on this edge. I’ve been out on Los Angeles streets sober for weeks at a time. I offer my help an understanding to people in this mad situation. Seen most crazy things ever. Talked to people why trying to understand. It’s a trouble I’ve frozen my ass off and slept on train an bus. Slept Anywhere I could. Living alive trying to better my life Wondering how people have nothing left. To do this to themselves. I’ve suffered out there just maybe for god to lead me to a way to help people who are helpless. Hard to understand but sometimes a talk an compassion can change someone’s life. God bless you for being out there. If I was cold an hungry on the street an met you I’d tell you save the money give it to someone who really needs. People have helped me. God has when in need. I feel that guy with the hard hat. we have the same background, I used to be on xanax all the time but honestly when I had my first kid that changed my point of view on life. I hope that man gets help there’s still hope for him

Guy is the same age as me and I started using coke when I was 21 so I definitely could have ended up in a similar boat I'd I didn't cut that crap out

Here's some 'secret' info..IF you are SERIOUS about getting clean and sober... Minnesota has THE BEST and lots of them.... treatment centers with room & board for as long as you want/need...And, if you are in residential treatment their own Dr will prescribe anything and everything to keep you from withdrawaling. All you need to do is get inside the border of Minnesota and call or go into ANY county social services and tell them that you need help and you want to go to treatment. You will be somewhere safe and getting your Rx's before the end of the day! 🤘🍕😸

Feeling bad for Patrick, I could see the pain in his eyes.
At first, I thought these were entertaining, and then I thought that maybe it was wrong, but then I realized that it’s actually helping people who haven’t started doing this kind of stuff or at least haven’t taken it to the next level. It’s hard to help someone anyway who is so far gone. It can be done but the chances are very slim because you have to want to get clean and most addicts don’t want to.
I wish you guys could get more ppl clean. I was a user for over 20yrs and after all that I went threw felonies included I got clean 5 years ago and never looked back I pray they wake up it's so much greener over here

Mann , I was homeless addicted to fentanyl. Had to smoke meth to stay awake. Lots of love on the street, not from society but from other people on the street.
This shit hurts my heart. I've been clean for 12 years but seeing this reminds me of why i quit. I feel for this guy seems like off "go fast" he is a good dude probably is on " go fast" to. Hopfully they will find help after watching this. I used to smoke rocks in my younger years and it saddens me to think that the same things i saw in those michigan basements still happens every night in multiple houses in every city. I just hope they get help there are millions of good folks stuck in a situation they can't excape.
