Wanted to thank you sooo much for this. My phone had issues trying to do the first part and get to the second screen but I guess timing was everything. I used softwares and the official one from lenovo but nothing worked. 2 weeks later BAM. It works. Thank you so much for keeping it straight foward and simple.
Really helpful video, got me out of a boot-loop after a failed Oreo upgrade (and helped me avoid a trip to Verizon store). Phone is working beautifully now, fully upgraded. Thank you!
Thank you! Prior to doing the Hard Reset, all my phone was showing me was, "There's an internal problem with your device, and it may be unstable until you factory data rest" and then the screen would go black.

We got everything transferred and i was instructed to do a factory reset before I sent the old phone back with FedEx. A few things looked different with the Oreo update but the information was still just what i needed to reset and send it back.
My power button isn't responding. I can get to the recovery, reboot screen, but you have to hit the power button to select either. Is there a way to power phone back on without using power button?
Sir I am using my Moto Z2 Force of Sprint, I am facing some problems with that, like "phone has stopped" said by system during making any call! Second problem is that update is showing error when upgrade completed!
Did everything besides the first step but every time I do the buttons so get to the settings it just restarts and puts me back on the "can't load Android systems". Plz help
The one thing which I do not like about the Z2 Force is the lack of ability to easily remove the battery. My phone was completely frozen on the AP Fastboot Flash Mode screen. Now the screen is completely black and doesn't react to the buttons at all. Also, the camera light on the front of the phone is now stuck on.
In my experience that means it's Google locked. Which usually means it's junk. I've got the very same problem. I found someone else's phone and it's all locked up. I'd contact the owner if I could and give it back to him or her but I can't even do that. If it were mine I'd really like to get it back but I can't even do that. The poor sap. Too bad. It's off to the recyclers for it.

Did you have an issue where the screen just froze and the touch screen stopped working? When that happened did you have to just power cycle the phone?

i did everything u said, and it goes into a moto pwowered by android screen but then turns rifht back off (i have the charger plugged in as well)

If my moto is dead , means it is not turning on , probably for being fully stored
