Their line makes it so they can have such a versatile offense with play calling. They'll call any play in the play book at anytime because they know that they'll have protection.

Agreed. The Lions have a strong offensive line and that makes a mediocre Jered Goff look better.

Regarding the Falcons, I think you have overlooked the fact they will have a QB that knows how to get rid of the ball quickly which will equal LESS pressures and sacks. I think Cousins will help the Falcons' OL.

Nelson has struggled a lot without Anthony Castonzo or our old coaches being here. He’s had a few injuries, and with the LT being a turnstile before Reihman was here, it hurt his grades because he was always having to help

I'm baffled why they're so down on the Rams Alaric Jackson. On their OWN rankings, he's listed third highest on the line, and that's with playing through injuries last season...

Cam Jurgens played Center at Nebraska. Dickerson played center at Alabama. I hat it when they switch guys positions. Moving a guard to center or vice versa isn’t bad but when they move tackles to guard or center I don’t like that. If i need a guard I’m drafting a guard. The eagles have a college tackle playing RG in Steen.

Rams made the SB with a ho-hum OL.
Bengals made the SB with a bad OL.
49ers let their top-drafted expensive OL walk and notice no difference in wins.
Guessing you don't have data for your comment.

Vorhees is the starting LG for the Ravens. Josh Jones is prob LT depth if Stanley gets hurt, he's only good at LT. RG will be Ben Cleveland or Faalele, RT prob Mekari until Rosengarten gets up to speed. It's really just RT that's a concern

I always thought Sewell was bigger than he is. For some reason I thought he was 6’6’’ with 35 inch arms. He is just below 6’5’’ he is 6’4 7/8” tall and has 33.25 inch arms. And he is 330. Certainly big enough but not like these monster tackles we are seeing today. It’s rare for a tackle to be under Sewell is 6’5’’ for all practical purposes but it’s rare to find a tackle now that’s under 6’5’’ and with arms shorter than 33.5 inches.

The Bengals offensive line this is the best iteration of it in the Joe Burrow era. Orlando Brown graded at I think 68 last year which is low for him he will get back up LG Cordell Volson is going into year 3. Year 1 he was 53.2 year 2 he was 58.9 so he is improving should be in the mid to high 60’s this year which is average. Center Ted Karras was the highest graded linemen for the Bengals last year at 76 and had the 4th highest pass protection grade from you guys. RG Alex Cappa is a solid player who graded at I think 69 or 70 for the year. He had a bit of a down year too he is usually a mid 70’s player and Jonah Williams is gone and Trent Brown when he is on the field is an elite pass protector who had a grade of 81 last year 82 pass protection grade and an 80 run blocking grade. He has put up elite pass protection numbers in the past that’s why I say he can be elite. And the backup situation is 1st rounder Amarius Mimms at tackle, Cody Ford at Guard, Matt Lee at Center and Jackson Carman who can backup tackle or guards.

When Winston was in Tampa? He was notorius for holding onto the ball way too long looking for the "BIG PLAY." He made the line look terrible.. Fields did the same thing in Chicago.

  • @NathanDean79
    @NathanDean79 3 месяца назад

Dewand Jones is big but the Bengals have the largest tackle duo in possibly ever. Dewand Jones is 6’8’’ 375. Trent Brown is 6’9’’ 370. Orlando Brown jr. is 6’8’’ 345. Amarius Mims is 6’8’’ 340 and Mims is different than those other 3 guys in that he is rocked up big time. He is huge he has pretty low body fat you just look at all 4 of these guys together and you will see what I’m talking about. Trent Brown and Dewand Jones while strong look a lot more flabby but they are still great. Trent Browns 40 time and 10 yard split time are better than Jones. That’s the only event Jones did the 40. Orlando Brown is big and looks a lot less flabby than the first 2 and Mims doesn’t look flabby AT ALL!

  • @NathanDean79

Frank Ragnow and Kevin Zeitler should be Cincinatti Bengals. We drafted and developed Zeitler and they let him walk. I don’t know why because he has always been good and we were about to draft Ragnow in 2018 and the Lions were picking right before us and they stole him from us. We had targeted Ragnow and we’re about to draft him but Detroit did and we got Billy Price who is no longer in the NFL. So the Bengals can draft and develop players. We drafted Whitworth in round 2. We drafted Zeitler in round 1 and we’re about to pick Ragnow and Jonah Williams is at least an average tackle. You could do a lot worse than Jonah Williams is what I’m saying.

Jedrick Wills had done worse than underachieve. Jonah Williams was Bamas left tackle and was drafted in 2019 at number 11. Jedrick wills was the left tackle at Bama and was drafted in 2020 at number 10. Dude Jonah Williams had been better than Wills has. Last year Jonah was moved to RT after not playing it since he was a freshman at Bama and his final grade was I think 63. In 2020 his grade was in the 70’s. In 2021 he graded in the 70’s and in 2022 he graded in the high 60’s to low 70’s. He missed his rookie year. Wills scored a 54 last year. Jonah has never had a grade that low for a season. He was moved from his comfortable position last year and he still didn’t grade as low as Wills.

They aren’t going to play Jones over Wills. Do you know why? Because they already picked up his 5th year option. 2024 is his 5th year and he is guaranteed that money no matter what. I think it’s north of 13 million dollars. They aren’t going to play a 4th rounder and sit the guy on the bench who is making 13 million dollars. They should. I would. You want your best 5 out there but that’s how these franchises think.

And why do you guys think the Browns line is great? No one on the line had a score higher than 72.7. Conklin grade of 74.5 was for the previous year. Wills was terrible with a 54.0 grade. Bittonio is getting old and it’s showing he scored 67.9. I think they have a good line but it’s not as dominant as it has been. And Bill Callahan leaving will have a MAJOR impact on them. The Jets have a top 5 line IF Tyron Smith can play an entire year.

    Romans 9:4 ESV
[4] They are Israelites, and to them belong the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the worship, and the promises.
This verse proves that ISRAEL specifically was given the LAW. THANK YOU brother for your faithfulness to God's Word.
I wish my covenant theology/reformed brothers preached correctly about the Law. The fact they don't often leads to much legalism.
