As a child (African American) I was fascinated by beautiful embroidery of clothing, I wanted to wear it all, it was only until I see clothing of Africa that I see why it is part of me.
Also they never show these indigenous Mauritanian (African/black) they always show Arab looking passing people never the actual Mauritanian thanks for this at the real Mauritania
I agree as a Senegalese I never knew Mauritanian had so much in common with senegal until I met a Fulani from Mauritanian and another Fulani from Gambia I thought they were all from senegal
Those arab looking aren't arabs !! They are bedouin/Maures or Moorish they are the majority ethnic groups in Mauritania like 70% But not all Moorish are white!! 30% are fulanis soninke and wolof who's originally came from Senegal and Mali
Iw wish they could do a traditional tutorial on the hairstyles that the bride was wearing? Also arent the original Mauritanian s black but their never really shown sad... Please reply
queenofsheba1000 there are few individuals doing hair styles and traditions here on RUclips, just need to search with the countries names. Yes Africa is a Blackman's land but we welcome anyone who wants to take something from motherland. After all no one will stay on this earth forever.
@ MGBfilmTV can you please tell me where there soon this particular hairstyle where the beads are sewn on please really need to know please reply thanks
Hello! very wonderful video. I was wondering if I could email you to ask about how you've set up your business? I'm a college student studying art and I'm applying for a grant to come to Mauritania and do some filming and animation but I know no one at all in Mauritania so I was wondering if I could make some contacts as well?! Thanks so much for taking the time to read this!
Thank you for reaching out. I actually graduated from a 2 years film school where i've learned the business side too. As for Mauritania, i'm not understanding the question. I'm in USA, although i've been there.
