For a short time I felt in my twenties again, seeing O-Positive in the clubs in and around Boston. I had a full head of hair, a thirty inch waste and pretty girlfriends. Now I am old. The Boston music scene ROCKED! Thank you for the upload. 😊
Chilling opening number. Amazing how great they sound even after all these years, like they never stopped. Dave used to wear a T shirt for a local Boston band I was in back the 80s. Alan greatest guitar sound.
Ahhh the good ole days of Boston rock...saw these guys everywhere along with my other faves the Blackjacks...the Dogmatics...the Lyres...Band 19...et al...I was the day manager at the Kenmore Club for 5 years in the 80's...my roomy on Park Drive back then for a while was Paul Curley who at the time was the keyboardist for the Prime Movers...the nights at Jumpin' Jack Flash in the Fenway with Steven Tyler roaming the room in full trademark regalia!!...thanks for the memories!!!...I've lived in GA since '87 so I don't get to see these reunion type gigs since...but after we reconnected on AOL I was able to catch a little acoustic thing that Johnny Angel did with Robin Lane while we were both back in Beantown to visit family....
O+ was the Boston rock scene along with other gems like the Neighborhoods, Bim Skala Bim, Bosstones & Chucklehead. So many other great bands as well. These guys were my fave. I got introduced to them at my alma mater, Boston College, in 1987. They never disappointed. Thrilled that they still sound this amazing!! I'm harkening back to my 20's and hanging at Grover's in Beverly, standing in the front listening to this guys. Dave, Alan, David, Ken, David I & Artie B, thanks!!
This southern new england boy never heard of these guys. This is really easy to like the first time through. Well done. I was 19 and playing cover tunes in the woonsocket, pawtucket, providence area in 1980.
