This worked perfectly on my jetson hoverboard. It had a Bluetooth speaker and it still works, so I can hear music and battery warnings! I am so glad that the annoying beeping is gone!
Thank you so much! Just did this on my daughter's Jetson sync and it worked perfectly. She's never able to ride it due to the obnoxious beeping so she is thrilled!
Worked great! I never take my hoverboard outside because it's so annoying when it beeps. We did this and its perfect now! But we just took the top off, took the silver part off, and put the top back on . The voice and Bluetooth music still works but no more beeps! Tysm❤
This worked so well! Thank you so much! I had a constant beeping sound even if I didn’t ride it ! Only if it was turned off you couldn’t hear it but if it was on all you could hear is that annoying beeping sound! My hoverboard has a Bluetooth speaker as well! And it still works perfectly fine! Thank you so much 100% recommended! ☺️
This worked out perfectly, thanks! We have a Hover 1 Superfly. Bluetooth speaker is not affected after this mod (it's its own mono speaker, large and hard to miss). Thanks again!
Thank you very much have the same hover board and the beep was so annoying. My son stopped riding it shortly after getting it because it was so annoying. Nows he's back on it thanks again
There’s no damage to the motherboard. It’s a very simple solder point that you’re breaking. It performs no other purpose but to emit a beeping sound. Any way you modify it will void the warranty anyway... so why put up with beeping at all if you don’t have to.? At least that’s my opinion... but to each his own. This board performs perfectly (and silently) after dozens of recharges and probably 20+ hours of riding.
@@g_boutabag3288 Every hoverboard brand is different. Mine doesn’t have Bluetooth. A piezo speaker like the one in this video is not used for playing music. It only emits beeps. It’s possible your hoverboard plays the beeps through a mono or stereo speaker or it may have a piezo and a separate speaker for music. If so, it shouldn’t matter if you disable the piezo speaker.
As JD Lives said, you can put hot glue over the beeper hole. This is reversible if a warranty repair is required. The glue will greatly reduce the beeping sound, probably to the extent that it will be barely perceptible if heard at all outdoors. I cover the holes on my drones when working on them.
Oh thank you man. My board kept beeping saying it was on low power whenever I used it on carpet. Everything worked fine, and it would stop after a few seconds, but got really annoying, especially since most of my house is carpet.
I actually have a different hoverboard and the motherboard layout was different as well but when I found what he was taking about and removed it mine stopped beeping as well
The type of speaker I removed is called a “piezoelectric” speaker and cannot play anything but beeps and high-pitched tones. If your hoverboard has Bluetooth capabilities and plays music, that would go through a traditional mono or stereo speaker. It’s possible your beeping tones also play through that speaker. You’ll have to open yours up to see how it’s configured. If in doubt, don’t modify. But removing a piezoelectric speaker should have no impact on the other speaker(s).
We just did this to the Jetson Sync, worked for a minute, then unit powered off, and won't turn on now. Any thoughts? It doesn't appear we damaged anything on the motherboard. Thanks!
Me to.. will say power on, Bluetooth connected, then power off but only if I hold the button, it used to calibrate when I did that now it’s a paper weight.. not even a Bluetooth speaker. I think the channel owner should put a warning about the Jetson sync on the video!
You know that if you put it on a level service turn it off then hold the power button the light will light up keep holding it until all the beeping stops then the only time it will beep is when it needs charged
Alt Account I don’t know for sure without seeing your specific model, but I doubt it. This type of speaker would not typically be used for anything but emitting beeping sounds. Music would likely go through a traditional mono or stereo speaker. It’s possible your model feeds both music and beeps through the same speaker. I’d say proceed with caution and don’t make any mods unless you know for sure.
Marshmello Gaming Same thing that would happen if it died with the beeping sound I guess. You fix it or buy a new one. The speaker doesn’t perform any other function other than to beep. My son has ridden the board in blissful silence for six months with zero issues.
I would not recommend this because for my hover board the beeps sometimes means it low on battery so if your riding it at high speed and it loses battery you could get injured but this could help in some other ways because i could have charged my hover board fully and when i put on the go kart attachment after 15 minutes or so it would start beeping and yes my board it calibrated so i just don't understand why it does that
If the battery runs out while you're riding, the hoverboard will just slow down naturally. There's no break or anything that engages that will cause you to fly off. It'll just stop accelerating, like if your car ran out of gas.
There are no wires to the speaker. Your model may be different, but this particular hoverboard uses a "piezo" or "piezoelectric" speaker that attaches directly to the motherboard. The little cylinder that I removed is the actual speaker, and the only thing that connects it to anything are those two solder points.
Nope. Didn't ruin a thing. It's still going strong a year later and runs like new, except for the annoying beeping. All I did was remove the "piezo" speaker that does nothing useful to the function of the hover board.

Ayy....I got the exact same hoverboard .. and yes that was literally so annoying. Great video!

same hoverboard my friend keeps saying "can you stop it from beeping"

You can also hot snot or tape over the piezo and it will be super quite and you won’t damage your unit

@@McScott76 does that mean i can still use the bluetooth speaker or no sound at all

Great, it worked ! my son has one, not even the same model, and I tried it. Thanks, that deep sound was so annoying.
Thanks so much I almost throughout my hover board I have been searching for 2 hover and I saw this video and thank again😊😊😛😛😊
Thanks so much dude, was working on a completely different model and it worked perfectly. Greetings from Slovenia 🇸🇮

Great video! Only question will the music from the Bluetooth will still work if you do what you did?

@@jerryriggins3594 so i saw a comment saying theirs didnt turn on and now im kinda hesitant, you think they just did it wrong and i should be fine
Does it still stop if you are going fast
I have a hoverboard and a go kart attachment and it use to be slow and annoying but the beeping is gone I can go as fast as I want!
Ah thanks. This drove me crazy too. Much appreciated
I remove the black thing but my hoverboard still beep when i go high speed... very annoying
Thank u bro that’s very helpful

will it stop the bluetooth? im pretty sure it will if your removing the speaker. just want to make sure
It. Mostly the cendle with + or emits beeps it wont stop bluetooth music mostly comes out of a stero speaker
Anyone done this on a swagtron? The beeping is absolutely ridiculous!
Thank you very much!!!!!!!
Is the jetson rave similar to this
Yes i remove it form my rave no more beep perfect music
All jetson hoverboard have the same motherboard laid out same with some hover 1s
Thank you for sharing
It beeps because it's in beginner mode from the manufacturer, you have to put in either intermediate or fast mode. Beep gone.
How
my hoverboard has a bluetooth so you can play music will that remove the bluetooth if i remove the black thing

Charge it
Mine is saying calibration complete
I hate it when u go fast it beeps
How do I change the speed
You can download an app (depending on your Hoverboard) to change max speed
This will only work if your Hoverboard supportes blewtooth
It keeps beeping when I zoom
Hack n' Slash
❤
Thanks!!
OMG thank you SO SO SO SO SO MUCh
Omg it’s still not beeping!!
Just get the app and set max speed up
There's no app. This hoverboard does not connect to bluetooth, and there's no ability to upgrade or modify firmware settings.
Jerry Riggins oh ok sorry, my hover board works like that
Mine now does not work!😑
Just reset it after and then it should work
