RADIO LONDON final hour 1967.

This was copied down from a tape recorded back then when I was only 12 on to a Dansette reel to reel 4 track machine. There are a few occasional drop outs, but not too bad for a 53 year old tape from a box in the shed! Even at that young age I remember feeling bereft when Radio London went off air...we always listened to Big L and now it was gone. I’ve edited most of the music out for copyright reasons, and there are a few stops and starts including the play out track, where the tape ran out before we had radio silence and then tuned to Caroline.
