Yes, you should indeed play Layton games. The feels... The feels... The last mainline Layton is 9 years old by now and they just stopped making them. I am lost for words...
Oh and yes, there is a crossover game between Ace Attorney and Layton, it's great!
I would love to see her playing all those games, especially the crossover!

Yeah, when she said "I want to play everything Shu Takumi has written," Ghost Trick was an obvious choice. It's very different from Ace Attorney but it has an amazing story nonetheless!

@@oscarprudencio1799 Yeah I assumed she wanted a long break from Ace Attorney so Ghost Trick really fits the bill. But now it's been a long time since TGAA so the original games might be an option again.
In my honest opinion AA x PL is my favorite crossover game and favorite Ace Attorney period. Fully recommend giving it a shot.
Been waiting since 2010 for that Golden Sun 4. Praying that them bringing us the OG Golden Sun is a way of testing the waters for the IP. Glad to see more people hyped about a franchise I care super deeply for :D

I was really hoping for some miracle in this direct for Golden Sun 4. I received Ghost Trick revival though.
For a series with only three games, it has a level of popularity that eclipses franchises still running today. Treasure were an aptly named developer, GS was a solid tier of hidden gems on GBA/DS.

For a while I've always though that the golden sun franchise is dead
And always pretend that golden sun dark dawn doesnt exist for how it ended on a good cliff hanger and breaking my heart hearing that camelot filed for bankruptcy
Now that they showed that golden sun on switch i am now filled with hope that there is a chance even if its a sliver of a chance that the sequel for golden sun dark dawn will actually happen
Really wanted a kid icarus sequel or something to do with the franchise but I guess tears of the kingdom is already gonna be a game that takes place in the sky

I played Minish Cap all night. It's been so long. Truly the best 2d Zelda. Really excited for Etrian Odyssey 1-3 and eventually an entirely new one on Switch. I've wanted to play EO3 but I could never find it less than $200
Minish Cap being announced first made my sister burst into tears. She was so happy, it was her first Zelda game.

Fantasy Life is a fantastic game on the 3ds! Despite all the stuff you can do, farming is not one of them lol. So excited for the sequel, never thought it would happen
Played that game a few times, the music and characters got me hooked. I'm only hoping we'll get a Tomodachi Life sequel.

I could see part of your soul die when they revealed Hector as a add on DLC for FE Engage. Especially how you said that you wouldn’t give in to DLC beforehand
Then they wombo comboed her with Soren. Then they killed all the hype with Camilla.

- To sum it up...Bayonetta is equal parts funny and dark. Yes, our heroine uses her sexy allure for the sole purpose of teasing virtually everybody, but she also has to go through a lot of cosmos-threatening hardship.
- Man, Azura got robbed. Don't we have enough DLC axe Emblems between Edelgard and Hector?
- Layton and Ace Attorney are completely separate IPs, though they did have a crossover game once.

you know who else kinda got robbed? alm. he's as important of a protagonist as celica is and already got left out of the first warriors game, and i just think alm deserved some justice, but also hard agree on azura, would've been a more interesting pick for sure bc dancer
So many franchises popped off, really excited for the 3rd party games like Fantasy Life. Might try out Ghost Trick, Advance Wars, and Raincode too.

17:24 i said the exact same thing lmao! i grew up on the gba sp, and i played and replayed most of the mario advance series constantly for years! seeing the version of mario bros 3 that i recognize and influenced my life so much... its enough to make a grown man cry
Mario Advance and Mario Bros DX were an absolute jam. Honestly the portable equivalents of the AllStars games were amazing.
I screamed and ran through my house when I saw Golden Sun. My all time favorite GBA game. I assume they will also eventually add Golden Sun: The Lost Age. I also assume they'll add the first three generations of Pokémon games after Scarlett and Violet get more months/maybe a year or so to shine.
Came for the Golden Sun namedrop in title, staying for the Ghost Trick and Etrian Odyssey hype! Lots of GBA/DS games that were lost to time, and I'm glad they're coming back
Between the new Layton, Ghost Trick, Tears of the Kingdom, a new Spike Chunsoft mystery and SO much more, I feel that pain of being torn on which games to play first. It’s so exciting though!!!

He talks about his grandfather, who is most likely Vandham so this points to him being one of the Founders in XC3.
But he DOES look eerily like another Xeno protagonist…Fei from Xenogears.
By the way since this seems to be the Founders war prequel DLC, this can only mean one thing.

Baten kaitos is a seriously underrated jepg. It got a lot of hate because of really bad compression for the voice acting. An amazing experience though not sure if it would be a popular stream...
Baten Kaitos was made by Monolith before they made Xenoblade. It's amazing.
Ok hot take, what if tears of the kingdom isn’t a sequel but is instead a ‘what really happened’ without the time travel shenanigans from age of calamity that explains how link ends up in the shrine of resurrection. It’s unlikely, but they could then throw a curveball and you have to fight the weird zombie ganondorf as Zelda in the end…
unfortunately the memories in botw mostly work against this seeing as link still has both normal arms in all of them
Yeah, that’s impossible considering that BOTW’s memories completely contradicts Link’s appearance.

If you want to get into the Kirby series, RDTL Deluxe would be an excellent starting point! I would HIGHLY recommend giving it a shot when it comes out if you're interested.
If you enjoyed Persona Q and Q2 , you're definitely going to love Etrian Odyssey

I really recommend the Phoenix x Layton game. That game set the foundation for multiple witnesses cross examination, which later used in The Great Ace Attorney.
You may be interested in the Baten Kaitos games - they're by the company who eventually went on to make the Xenoblade series!

Oddly enough, no farming sim was mentioned, which is a surprised given the last directs. Fantasy Life looks like it could've been (and I would assume some would mark it down as one), but it's more of a Dungeon Crawl adventure, where you have the option of doing various jobs you'd see in an RPG realm. And yeah, unless they add it in this sequel (and haven't shown us) Farming was not an option for Fantasy Life. You generally got your base resources from questing and foraging instead.
GHOST TRICK ON SWITCH? I can't believe it's finally happening! Plus the OG Fire Emblem (in the west) coming out Online... this was such a great Direct

Not to mention Diabolical Box, Unwound Future and Last Spectre are called Pandora's Box, Lost Future and Spectre's Call in PAL regions. So I don't know if Crystal has a region preference, but if she does, those are the alt titles.

Fantasy Life i isn't a farm simulator. It's a story based action RPG where you can play out different jobs called lives, that will help you be completely self sufficient as you can make the armor and weapons for your combat classes like Paladin, Archer and Mage. The idea of creating a place to live is new addition from the first game or the mobile title that just closed its doors on Monday., but farming literally has nothing to do with it and each life has its own story that somewhat ties into the main story.
Also, I don't blame anyone who isn't excited about Tales of Symphonia Remaster because everything is hinting that it's the PS2 version which is locked at 30 FPS and has logner load times, as opposed to the Gamecube one which ran at 60 FPS. There's no reason not to be the superior version of the game, but apparently Bamco doesn't want to. It's better to just buy the Steam version.
