Great review Griffen. I checked this bike out at a nearby dealer today along with their D5 26" fat tire ebike as part of my early search for my first ebike. Both had cadence sensors. I like that the D5 is available with a torque sensor, which might be better for some light dirt trail riding than the cadence version. But I liked how the Big Dog really just felt like it fit my 5'8" frame better- just wish it had a torque sensor option. I noticed you liked using the throttle more with this bike. Extra battery usage aside, can using the throttle offer as much control on dirt trails as a torque sensor on the same bike?
I really want this ebike BUT... I need a 100watt rear hub motor and a bigger battery for more range. If that was there this would be the PERFECT ebike out there.
Himiway started shipping out hydraulic-equipped Big Dogs since September 2022. Himiway made an official announcement to the upgrade shortly thereafter. EBR must have received their Big Dog bike before the change and finished this review video a few months later.
I bought one of these and in the U.K. it doesn’t come with throttle. (Only a walk assist). Plus the PAS was cutting out continually. Contacted Himiway to return the bike and have never had such a bad experience with a company in all my 53 yrs. shockingly bad service and delay tactics. The bike may look great but if you have a problem you don’t get any support and run the risk of losing a lot of money. I feel like I’ve been scammed. Strongly advise against this company.

Very much so. I'm heavy already, and I'd like to be able to carry two kids and some baseball gear.
I like the Himiway bike but it's looking Heavy weight than my EMTB. Hope to try this once for my ride in Switzerland Alps!

Excellent video and review, thank you. I’m getting one in a couple of weeks. 16:36

Would you choose this one over Magicycle Deer Suv step through 20 inch ?
Wonderful videos~~😀
Thank you 🤗
Looks like it's just, a so/so bike nothing special other than the battery. Definitely needs hydraulic brakes. Bad decision on Hemingways part.
It does have hydraulic brakes now
