Yes it was Irish/Scottish Gaelic tradition to carve Jack o Lanterns to protect against evil spirits. Originally it wasn’t pumpkins carved though but turnips.

I love that we have seen more of you and your husband on camera. It has been such a treat to watch all your videos and content and how it has evolved. I keep thinking each video is my favorite but this one might be my favorite haha. I love October!!! My dog's birthday is in October. I found him as an abandoned puppy in late November and the vets estimate he was 2 months old. He passed away last year at 10 years from cancer. I would celebrate the entire october for his birthday and go on several big hikes and camping trips wirh him, Its ] hard to bring myself to drive or travel to a hike only to hike by myself now.

They stayed with my mum for 3 nights and their were perfect, but we did phoned them when we were going out for dinners, mainly to make sure my mum was ok 😅 x
