As for Momota's loss against Lee Zi Jia (All England open 2021) he lost all his self-confidence due to his infection with Covid , for that he had to recover fully yet and unfortunately his whole team was evicted from the previous tournament

@@hongyi3634 As a Malaysian, I feel bad for Momota because the car accident happened in Malaysia, he mentioned that he had to start from zero after eye surgery, and ever thought of retirement. If you know what Momota has been through after car crash in Jan 2020, it's understandable that he lost in Olympics. If he could come back stronger mentally, he would still be the king with his skills.
@@hongyi3634 The dude was involved in really bad car crash in Jan 2020 & then got infected with Covid, Momota was just not in the form otherwise he would've swept the floor................
@@hongyi3634 He had a severe car crash and required eye surgery in 2020, then couldn't train due to the pandemic during his recovery. Even when he could train there was a severe lack of international tournaments so he couldn't face other players except in his own camp. Its understandable that his form was so bad during the Olympics. I just hope he finds his 2019 form again within this year.
