Excellent explanation on how to get through those tight trees! On a YZ450F too! Your riding insights are helpful to all off road riders. Please continue these short and quick explanations of what you think are key off road riding techniques and skills (off cambers, roots, rocks, slippery downhills and uphills, dry dusty trails, muddy trails...there are so many topics you can cover). Bike set up tips would be cool too! Looking forward to more os these videos!
Comment below if this video helped you and your riding! 🔥⬇️
I think you can pin this comment to keep it at the top, just fyi
The first half was a bit confusing, but your explanation at the end really helped clear it up. Especially the part about leaning the bike making the bar length shorter, that’s super useful on the trail.
Nothing like hearing tips from the fastest in the business. Keep the videos coming they're awesome!!
Yes it helped, A rock garden video would be awesome
This was excellent info brother. Thank you so much. It's always amazed me how fast you guys could maneuver through tight stuff. This most definitely will help me out a ton. Would love to see more of these!! Possibly one on riding Ruts in the woods. I have a terrible time with them. Thanks again! See ya at big buck!
Very good way of explaining it. My hands would probably still be bleeding with those flags though. Hope to see you make more of these videos.
Yeah Stu👍 Great tips for a C rider like myself. Would love to see a vid about carrying speed into corners, that's something I struggle with.
B smart this year n gncc. I want to see u win this year.
Ready to try this!
Man, need more of these for sure. Great information and its going to help immensely. The breakdowns are super helpful!
Awesome! Been racing off road here in NZ for a long long time but tips like this keep you thinking, would be keen to hear your sand riding techniques, we ride a lot of sand where I live but never to old to learn from the Best!
Simple but important concept that the bars are narrower when turned and/or leaned. It takes courage to go at trees you know your bars won't fit through with enough energy to lean and turn. Got trust that traction and be right there with the power. Stop and go at the same time...almost.
This will be helpful here in Michigan, thanks for the vid!
That is a fantastic explanation! And congratulations on getting that national enduro win! That's how to start the season right!
I would definitely tune in regularly if you did videos like this frequently. That was super helpful
Thank you bro, keep these coming man,I'm 56 5th year of harescamble. This will help, see you at the wild boar .lucky for you I'm racing in the morning lol
Very useful detail! Appreciate the lesson - having ridden on rows right before you guys in the past, I was always amazed at how much ground you made up over the rest of the field. Moves like this are great time savers (and this is coming from an A class off-road racer). We need more of these 🤘
Absolutely man, happy to share some info. What would you like to see next with “Riding Tips”?
@@stewardbaylor4867 from a 200b rider I’d love to see how y’all carry so much momentum into corners, I was on row 44 and it’s crazy how fast you guys go into corners.
@@xlrfiji476 a lot of commitment and trust but that comes from hours each day on the seat
@@stewardbaylor4867 anything training related, on or off the bike, for sure. Things like this would be the approach to logs/rock sections/roots, since not as many creators focus on those (but we see them everywhere in races). Maybe some on reading different lines on a walkthrough, too? It's one thing to do a track walk, and another to know what to look for. 👍
Yes it Did! Might get back in the woods with tips like this 😎👍
I’ll go for rocks next?
Awesome to see a top rider giving valuable tips like this! Keep up the great work and good luck at Gncc!
Great tip, really rare to get any good tight woods riding tips on you tube. Also love the video with you and Evan making fun of moto guys. Good seeing you at Sumter. Stay Cool!
Great vid straight to the point. Keep them coming always looking for tips to improve.

Solid explanation!
Think it until it becomes instinct and mussel memory .
First off how wide are your bars? Standard 805mm?
Yes full width plus bar ends
@@stewardbaylor4867 you don't cut your bars down at all?
@@onamissionracing personally I do not. I prefer the standard width
post more videos!
What’s in the bar pad? Electronics?
I prefer doing it by hitting my shoulder into the tree and then my handle bar and falling.
what chin mount do you use
Stew why dont you post more, you could be like the kevin hart of the dirtbike wrld. come on stewsif
What type of bar pad is that?
Mypitboard. It has like a lap timer and mayve gps stuff on it.
This didnt end well
