Minecraft has some features that do absolutely nothing. So I fixed it, and gave them a 'purpose'...

With the tripwire thing, you just created Angry Birds. Like, just make a mod that changes your skin to an Angry Bird and build a slingshot with a tripwire, make it explode when you hit a block and that's it, you made Angry Birds.

The reason why the stone cutter doesn’t hurt you is because it grinds away at stones. The saw is flat in order to do that. Our skin is more flexible than a solid object and therefore doesn’t harm us.
However do not put your hand in a stone cutter you can still get hurt if you put too much pressure on it.
Finally someone said it.
For a moment I thought you were going to make a joke and say humans are not made or stone and thus are ignored by the stone cutters.
Sort of, a stone cutter is designed with a strong steel blade to CUT through stone and create workable shape, a grinding wheel seems closer to what you're describing, which mine-craft has seemed to have mixed up a bit
Pretty sure that's a cast saw, or a grinding wheel or whatever it's called

10:15 the reason why stone cutters don't hurt is because in real life stone cutters move back in forth not in a circulatory manner therefore can cut hard objects but not softer objects like humans

Fundy Cauldrons are used for putting potions in to dip your arrows giving them the potions effect its one of the features I love about Minecraft they are also used for making infinite lava farms via drip stone
They can also be used to store water in the nether in older versions
I could genuinely listen to Fundy's voice for hours

Idea for tripwire: The more blast resistance of what you hit, and how far you roll downhill, increases the damage. Also if your head bonks into wool, sponge, snow, powder snow, water, etc. you take no damage
Fun part about finishing a mod, you can have fun messing with value then

i use tile cutters. tile cutters can cut squishy thing with a little extra application of force. if you step on it, it will cut your leg in half. but the internet is krugerite af so.

Also in bedrock, cauldrons are used to dye leather armor, by dye a filled cauldron then dipping the armor in it.
