My better half and I have "loop the fold" in a past Capital Reef trip. It was a delightful day trip! We also have been lucky enough to do Cathedral Valley loop on a second trip which requires a high clearance vehicle. Both are awesome adventures in Capital Reef NP without the crowds that exist at many National Parks. Great video!!
Your Capitol Reef videos are fantastic and very helpful. I've been a few times just to the visitor center area, and things along Highway 24, the Gifford House and picnic area, and down the scenic drive, but not on any of the Loop the Fold route. Will plan to do so.
The big deer with the rack is a male probably in charge of the others. I was able to follow the off-pavement road down to Bullfrog and the pavement went to paved road to Bullfrog. I did find the Waterpocket Fold too. Can't wait for Part 2. So far, the scenic route is spectacular. It's fun following the route. The Burr Trail Road, I could not find on the map I have. This has been a wonderful education of this area in Utah. I even remember hearing about the Fremont Culture when I worked at the Ute Museum. Thanks so much Glenn and Amy.
Thank you for the videos, I really enjoy them. I used to really love the official narratives, because they sound so fascinating, but there’s a preassumption that it’s all true, not sure about that, so I take it all in with a grain of salt.
We came through there back in May. Didn’t get to see a lot of these spots, other than the schoolhouse. Spent most of our time doing the Cathedral Valley Loop. Thanks for sharing these.
@@CactusAtlas exactly. Especially if you only have a week out there and you’re trying to visit as many places as possible. You’re very blessed to get see so much of that beautiful part of the country.
He could. I DO use the white of the hood for color correction and grading purposes, however. (I THINK he did adjust it in later filmed videos, however, I cannot remember when that started 😅)

Gotta agree. The crowd level heading back there is next level. Always good to have that kind of experience and spread out. 😄
Glad to see you exploring the park. A lot of people just do that main 8 mile drive and miss out on a lot. This loop and Cathedral Valley are beautiful
Haha! STILL easy to miss a lot even with those two drives. 😅
You keep me motivated getting out of the Florida panhandle and moving to the SW next summer.
We're so excited for you to be able to explore the Southwest. Enjoy the adventure! Verde Valley perhaps? 😅

That’s great! It’s a really beautiful area and a fantastic drive. 🙂
Beautiful ❤🎉
Thank you! 😊

Outstanding video content and quality!!!
Much appreciated! ☺️
We loved the variety of scenery on this drive.. Especially the Burr trail section.
It's a fantastic drive, especially that section. 😄
I like the geology 🎉
Woohoo! 😄
Love the geology lesson; amazing stuff!!
Thanks so much! 😄

It's always so hard to fully explore a lot of those parks to the fullest, isn't it? 😅

Love Fruita Campground
The setting is amazing, isn't it? Makes it a great one. 👍
You should read Desert Solitaire by Edward Abbey while you’re there.
Thanks for the recommendation. 😄👍
I miss Utah SOO MUCH! Fruita has the BEST CHERRIES & PEACHES & APPLES & PLUMS!! Makes to whole trip worthwhile!!
We seriously missed out with the orchards. We hear about it all the time. 😄
Alfalfa is premium hay for horses.
I remember feeding bits to a rabbit when I was younger. 😄
😂😅
can you sing Solo ?
❤😂🎉
Glenn, not a criticism, but, could you tilt your front rooftop camera up a bit so we see more landscape and less of your hood. Thanks. 🩷

Sight read? Hell no. It's easier to hum a few bars and I'll pick it up.LOL.
