- This is a Motocross highlights compilation of Eli Tomac's time at Kawasaki. Coming off of double shoulder surgery after a big crash at Thunder Valley in 2015, Eli felt it was time for a change. Tomac joined the Monster Energy Kawasaki team in 2016 as he looked to get back on top. 2016 was a rebuilding year as he recovered from that crash at thunder Valley. By the end of that year he was back to his old ways, winning a couple MXGP races. Six seasons after joining Kawasaki Eli Tomac has won 4 Championships and 62 races aboard his KX450. One Supercross Championship and Three Motocross championships in a row, What a stint it was for ET3. Now he will start a new chapter of his career as he leaves team green. He's probably my favourite rider of the recent era but I grew up watching js7 and rc4 battling and that is still the best motocross racing I have ever seen. 06 and 07 were incredible, I only wish Carmichael did one more full season. I actually stopped watching after 07 because it just wasn't the same when no one in the field could touch Stewart in 08. It was amazing how him and rc4 were so far ahead of everyone but so evenly matched between themselves.

Dude great fuckin job on this vid. Eli will be remembered as one of the greats when he retires. But I hope he get a few more titles with Star before he does...he was always an inspiration to us local racers on Team Green when I first raced mini...he is the fastest dude I've ever seen turn a lap.

@@gladegoodrich2297 The fuck it don't, It adds tons of fuckin content and adds a lot of fuckin flavor to my statement about Eli. In fact it reminds me of the original definition of the word fuck. Fuck in its oldest parlence actually means two dogs copulating, fucking(I could tell you a funny story about these two dogs that got stuck together after fucking, but I digress). It's funny how it has translated to our everyday usage and how fuck can add so much to a sentence or just on its own. I think it's really fuckin great! Don't you think?

He just signed a contract extension and will now defend his OUTDOOR title as well as SX. If Tomac had the starts on he Kawi that he is getting on his Yamaha, 2017 to 2021 would have been an ET bloodbath of epic proportion.

Southwick 2016 was one of the first, if not the first times we got to see what Eli was really capable of. After flying under the radar all of supercross for the most part and some good outdoor rides, he suddenly shows up to boot roczen out of first place at the wick. A feat not easily done that year as roczen would go on to win 20/24 motos that year.
After this, Tomac would become more and more confident in himself and his bike and eventually go on to challenge ryan dungey for the 2017 supercross title, a feat which caused dungey so much grief and stress that it caused him to retire 2 years earlier than expected.
Tomac would go on to win 62 races, 3 consecutive outdoor titles and the most coveted and lucrative title in the sport with a supercross title in 2020. Many have came and went. Stewart, arguably the fastest man to ever race; and Carmichael, the GOAT. But Tomac on his green machine will go down as one of the greatest riders to ever throw a leg over a dirtbike. From all of us that watched you from 2010 up to the present day, we say thank you and good god can that guy go fast🙏🏻

You obviously didn’t pay much attention to him before. The only rider to win his pro debut race. Or the time he was leading by a minute and a half then crashed and destroyed his shoulder. His problem has NEVER been confidence in himself they bike at times yes.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I think if Eli was still on the Honda in 2016 Ken Roczen wouldn't have won that championship. I understand Eli himself wanted off the honda because as he said, "it put me on the ground a lot", however no one can argue that his speed in 2015 was probably the most impressive we've ever seen. I mean the man lapped Chad Reed twice in the same moto lol
The 2016 south wick ( I think) is one of the best tracks and races

We have seen it. 2015 on a Honda. No one ever could have given him a challenge in those races.
Kawasaki was putting all there effort and money into AC and the 250 riders instead of Eli who was actually winning. Him leaving team green was the best decision. I liked him on kawi but I’m so happy he left. Mitch Peyton isn’t the brightest guy around seems like.
Eli would have won a lot more if Kawasaki hadn't let him down so many times.
