Got mine today and so far the dongle works fine for me. I plugged it into my monitor, which had a spare port next to my BT dongle and I guess it is the perfect place for it, given the distance (about 45 cm). Coming from my old Filco TKL it takes a bit of getting used to the layout and lack of gaps, but it is not too bad. It also sounds and feels very differently. My Filco was hammering straight onto the steel base plate, so it was quite a bit louder. The RK feels kinda dampened, not sure if there's a rubber mat or something between the keys or if it is just the lack of the steel backplate - and it is obviously much quieter because of that. The switches feel good and very soft. I went with Red because my Filco uses MX Reds, so the feel is at least similar. How long they'll hold out we'll have to see but at least the board allows for easy switching. What I don't like that much is the white layer. I know it is to reflect more light between the keys but I think taking off the frame is kind of a stupid feature when you have a black board that then shows that white layer.
I have the same keyboard, modded it pretty hard, changed keycaps to an XDA profile, it's awesome and I recommend it to enter the hobby for its versatility. I agree, the software is trash. I needed to contact their customer support for a firmware update. Good content, keep it up, regards from Argentina.

I really like having the USB ports on the back. A bit of a throwback feature that died for some reason - it's actually really useful! Are the USB ports usable when operating wirelessly? I'm a "custom" keyboard guy, but this checks a lot of boxes for a good price. The stabilizers don't sound half bad, either. I'd suggest using a desk pad for the typing samples if you do any future keyboard reviews. The resonance of the desk drowns out a lot of the keyboard characteristics (as does the background music, which you may want to turn down/off during the typing test). The only thing that strikes me as a bit off is the critique of the software at 4:28 being "just ok" - what did you not like about it? From the capture of it, it looks pretty full featured, including remapping, macros, RGB customization (including adjustable sleep time which is useful when using the keyboard wirelessly to save battery), and multiple profiles (useful if you are using it across two different machines, such as a Mac and a PC). Otherwise, good stuff as usual!
Thanks for the tip! Yeah I should've lowered the Bg music for the sound test or not include music at all. Unfortunately the keyboard has to be plugged in for the USB ports to work. As for the software, it's not bad! Just didn't find it special or necessary. I have heard it can be a buggy at times but I haven't ran into any issues yet. Overall, incredible value for a loaded keyboard!
The stock stabs are terrible (they are terrybly loose on the plate), trust me, stock red switches are terrible too, keycaps are mediocre at best with lots of barbs and the black ones are pretty inconsistent in color, rgb is meh with kind of low frequency, if you are pretty sensitive to flicker you may notice it, i don't, but if i move it left and right i can notice. I would not buy it if i wasn't planning on at the bare minimum changing the switches, stabs would be a top priority too.
